I have never even heard of this, but I just discovered this via Google Earth when looking for Hasbro HQ:

    Hasbro Children's Hospital official site

    Hasbro Children's Hospital at Wikipedia

Who would've ever considered that the money we spent on toys and a fanclub can also go to save lives. I'm going to send so much more of my money to hasbro now than I ever have. I may even get a 2nd job just so I can buy more TFs.

I couldn't find anything showing a connection, anyone sure it's the same corporation as the toy company?

    Well, let's see.
It's a hospital specific to children (pediatrics)
    It's in Pawtucket, Rhode Island
It's name is Hasbro Children's Hospital
It's less than 5 miles from several Hasbro-Bradley facilities

I'd say that there's definately some sort of corporate involvement. Otherwise they might as well call it the "Blastblast" children's hospital, just so Hasbro doesn't sue them for infringing on their intellectual property. :p

On second thought, I would LOVE to go to a hospital named Blastblast, that would be freaking hilarious. :lol

So do I, but some of them are simply braindead. Like how they raped the Concept Camaro Bumblebee ... way too many versions ...

I actually learn about this last year sometime in of all things a Duracell commerical. On of those "blank trust us to power their stuff ones". I believe it was Hasbro trust us to power the toys they give to Children at the hospital so should you. Nice to see them giving back.

Which is an absolute crying shame. I think the '74 version would have been a much better CJ, and with a new head he could be an awesome movie Bluestreak.

...err, on topic, yay Hasbro tax shelter?

I don't think it's above and beyond or out of the ordinary for a toy company to sponsor a children's hospital. It's good PR, it's protecting their key demographic, it's just good sense all around for everyone involved.

Frankly I'd be a lot more surprised if they DIDN'T do something like this.
