That dude is no joke. He really put a beating on Optimus.
Dreadwing is awesome, and I am so stupidly happy he has a sword. That pretty much confirms there was never going to be a Skyquake toy, and that the grey proto was always going to be Dreadwing. He's also a much different kind of Decepticon, not the usual plate of bricks Megatron usually lugs around.
i still want my damn Skyquake toy.
also, I think Skyquake HAD a sword, just never used it. Looked like he had the hilt peeking out from over his shoulder.
At the risk of sounding exactly as I always do: why? Dreadwing's much better, both character and colour scheme. I swear Skyquake only exists as a placeholder, possibly because Dreadwing was intended to appear eariler, but for whatever reason was postponed, so they used the model as a one-off to give the kid a nice backstory fopr when he finally did show up.
Yeah he seems to have honor like a samurai or something. Much better than Skyquake IMO.
He certainly paved the way. Literally and figuratively.
I still want a Skyquake too. For the minigun.
Honestly, I think now I could go without having a Skyquake toy at all.
I honestly wouldn't complain if we just forgot Thundercracker exists and made Dreadwing the new "decent being blue jet decepticon".
Yes he is! Dreadwing is now my new favorite character!
Oh, crap, Tumblr's probably already gearing up its horrible hands for some Dreadscream. Handcuffs and pushing is all it needs.
I love Dreadwing. Since he showed up, I want his Voyager so bad. This episode just increased my liking for him even more. Just his military-grade combat abilities make him a force to be delt with, but is also honorable.
That makes me want to see a fight between him and Arcee, who seem to be thier side's best warriors. But he'd wreck the poor wretch in a matter of minutes.
yeah I think dreadwing is on optimus/megatron level for fighting
Triangulation has now just made the wait for Voyager Dreadwing a lot more difficult for me.
Wheeljack is the best warrior. He'd trounce Arcee and match Dreadwing, and they're already rivals. Ironically, I can see Wheeljack being shifty and underhanded as he fights, but not Dreadwing.
And where the hell is Dready pulling all those bombs from?
characterization isn't something that makes or breaks a toy purchase for me.
and I liked his deco. I like both of their decos. I want both of them. Will I cry if I never get both of them? Nah...but I still want both of them.
Yeah, just finished watching Triangulation and Dreadwing is confirmed god tier character.
He's now tied with Soundwave for my favorite character in Prime.
I'll admit, I was pretty meh on Dreadwing when he first showed up, but I REALLY warmed up to him after this episode. Damn near everything he does has this sense of ritualistic style to it, like he knows what he's doing isn't practical but he does it anyway because its the way he lives. Like those crazy sword flourishes? Pointless, but COOL. Also really love his crazy laser cannon chainsaw gun of doom.
Oh no are you serious?! Oh crap here we go. Dreadwing was a boss in this tonight's episode and the way he used that sword of his was amazing. Soundwave and Dreadwing are at boss level right now. A lot of the twirling around was unnecessary, but it was cool to look at. The gun and bombs are great too, but I wonder where does Dreadwing get all of his bombs from?
Not on Tumblr, but I know its fanart production capabilities are staggering.
Dreadwing really shined tonight in this episode. I'm loving his deep sense of honor. He is now officially my favorite Decepticon with Soundwave a close second.
