I for one really liked their characters. I think it would've been great if they were in the sequels.
Nah. They were really only relevant for the mystery and build up of the robots. Once the cat was out of the bag, there really wasn't a purpose for them. I liked them okay, but I didn't miss them.
I really liked them, but less is probably more in this case.
They're easily 2 of my favorite characters, so they better stick around.
... Darryl too.
What does the cutest Couple of the Zombie Apocalypse have to do with the Transformers Films?
I think it really all depends on how/why. I wouldn't want them to be thrown into the sequels merely because it means more humans to have to balance and hog the screen. But rewriting RotF to have them replace Leo? Sure. Maybe having a brief cameo of them in either RotF or DotM? Sure. If they want to come back for TF4, I wouldn't mind. I enjoyed them in Transformers, but as Split said, their role was/is done.
I wasn't talking about Maggie and Glenn in the Walking Dead. I was talking about the blonde chick and the black guy from the first film.
It's official. The Walking Dead has clouded my judgement.
We'll be back to normal in just over a month, though.
I wouldn't mind if they came back. I thought they were two likeable characters even though that hacker subplot could've been taken out of TF07 and the donut scene was the third dumbest scene in the movie.
No. No, no, no, no no. Their parts were completely unnecessary in the first movie. The rolls that they played in the first movie could have easily been accomplished by a single military tech support guy, and we would have minimized useless human characters, and maybe god forbid, the Transformers movie would have been about Transformers, instead of a bunch of characters no body cares about.
Hell yes. Glenn was hilarious, and Maggie was also likeable. Would've been nice to see both of them more...
Imagine Bumblebee teaming up with Carl.
... or T-Dog and Jazz!
I really liked Maggie. She had more personality than Mikaela and Carly combined.
Glenn, I couldn't care less about.
I didn't want them in the first movie. In fact I cut them out of my edited version
Shows (a) how much Walking Dead I've been watching/reading and (b) how 'memorable' the two TF-related characters were when my first reaction to seeing this was thinking of the couple from the Walking Dead.
As for the TF characters, I think Maggie would have been a good character to keep around. Hell, she would have been useful in DotM when they needed a computer hacker at a few points. Glen was a waste of space, though.
Or Megatron teaming up with the Governor...
Maggie - would like to see more.
Glenn - no thanks.
If they had been in there, they would've had what little personality they started with Flanderized completely just like everyone else.
