I would love it if somehow charecters from the shows ditching Vehicle mode for Beast ones.

Knockout would look even more fabulous as a Dragon and his reaction to it, wiether he loved or hated it would just be fun to watch.

now the Autobots would be hard since the Toy confirmed that most of them just gain spikey Vehicles modes,

Acree maybe just to give her a little a little more Punch with her lightwieght

and maybe Ratchet just mabe to give him a combat boost also, without SynthEn him up again.

I don't care about the show anymore, but it would make the toys interesting again. I'd buy a bumblebee Bumblebee.

I guess it could be cool. Sort of. Depending on how they did it. Hot Shot's^ idea of a bumblebee Bumblebee is awesome.

At this point though, I'd rather them actually go through with the "Beast Hunters reformatting" in the show, since we've already seen glimpses of those designs in figure form.

For imagining that scenario? Cool. Actually coming into play in the show? Eh...a little hesitant.

 

I don't see how it would make sense in the context of the show. The beasts have always had their beast modes. The Autobots and Decepticons choose their alt modes via scanning. They'd only be able to copy the beast mode of an existing predacon.

 

That's the next series....TFP Spybots: From Cybertron with Love or maybe The Bot with the Golden Gun.

I like the concept of it. But, no.

 

No. I love the idea of Autobot hunters, but I curse the day Beast Hunters gave everyone in the fandom the stereotypical idea of reformatting the existing cast into beasts. It would make no sense, and it's an all-around stupid plot point.

I'm leaving Beast Hunters with what it actually means: Predacons hunting Autobots.

 

It makes more sense than Team Prime gluing spikes on each other.

 

They're getting upgrades because the Predacons are after them. The Predacons are giant-ass dragons; they're current armory and weaponry wouldn't put a dent in them. Not to mention they're stranded with no energon, shelter, or leader. The Autobots are at a critical low. The spikes and weapons do make sense.

 

We don't even know if they're actually getting those upgrades in the show, or if they're toy only gimmicks. I'm guessing the latter, considering the supposed cost at altering the models drastically enough to include those changes - we'd never get new characters in that case.

But in answer to the question, while I don't mind beast-formers showing up, I don't want the pre-existing cast changing to beast-formers.

 

Actually, this might surprise you, but the writers of Prime told us before that some of the characters would eventually get upgrades. It appears it's now that time.

 

When it comes to the bots and Dcons, nope. Now I would love to see some beast mode transformers on the side of the Autobots, either being Dinobots or brand new Maximal characters with no ties from Beast Wars. The last thing I need is a water down version of my beloved childhood characters.

 

We've already seen upgrades. Megatron got his new hand and sword (and lost it), Optimus got the star saber, Smokescreen got his special phase shifter thing, Soundwave got his sound-thing, and all the autobots got to use the relics before idiotically leaving them behind on cybertron after the battle.

It's very possible that's all they were talking about. Of course, the beast hunter redesigns could be in the show, but I wouldnt really count on it.

Shockwave- I don't know why but I kinda see him as a scorpion to have the tail become his giant cannon arm.

No. I don't care for beast anything for the current cast. Robots in Disguise work better with real-world things; however, if by in disguise they mean infiltrating Megatron's forces than I guess that'd be okay I guess. Still, I prefer things as they are now (real-world things) for the current cast.
