I was reading an interview with Jeff Kline where he said that Hasbro Studios was in discussions about a theatrical Transformers: Prime movie being made. As to wether or not it would be live-action or animated is up for debate but I, personally, would rather see a 4 & 5th "Bayverse" movie or reboot than a Transformers: Prime movie, but what would you rather see?

    Yes.

I'd hate to see more Bayformers films.

Most certainly. If it's advertised well, hopefully people who liked the Bay movies go to see it.

If they make it live-action, no. If it's animated like the show is, then definitely!

It would be cgi not live action or it wouldn't be Transformers Prime.
As much as I would like it (because I love the writing and stories) I just don't think it's going to happen, at least not in a theatrical release maybe a straight to DVD thing?

If the TFP movie gets made it should be in complete CGI so mainstream sudince won't confuse this for the Bay movies. It worked for TMNT so this is the logical route to go.

No. It would probably suck. I'd rather have more Bay movies.

A TV special or straight to disc movie sure, but a theatrical one would just be weird. Especially if it's in live-action. Cartoon -> Live action interpretations almost never turn out right.

Derect to DVD/Tv Special could work too but if TMNT as a CGI movie can work despte the story taking place after the original live action moives a decade ago than why shouldn't this work too?

TMNT was horrible. And TMNT didn't come out while there was another TMNT movie continuity recently out. I don't see what comparison you're trying to make when it's a completely different case to having a theatrical Prime movie.

BOTH! If there wasn't that confusion prob with the audience about TFP and Bayformers, I'd want both made asap.

I would love to see TFP Live Action if:
    1.)It's about robots.
2.)Cast seems straight out of the show.

Edit: Now I have made a thread about a live action movie here.

Honestly, the more I think about it, I think it would end up being like the Clone Wars movie. It's doing perfectly well where it's at, it doesn't need a feature film version.

No thanks. Prime's formula doesn't really fit a theatrical feel.

Neither did G1 but that didn't stop it from getting a movie all the same. I mean Prime did take some aspects from the movies don't forget.
