I'm thinking about offering up my MISB God Neptune (it's a gem) in trade for the new Seacons. The G1 style packaging is almost too much for me to bear. So I ask you, the community, would you do it? And would it be a worthwhile trade for both parties?
Unless its really in minty MISB state, in which it might be a keeper. Otherwise I think its can be considered. Pure Speculations: IF Takara ever reissue the Seacons down the road, there MIGHT be an E-Hobby repaint of God Neptune. Seeing how most reissues gets an E-Hobby repaints.
For me no I much prefer God Neptune over the club Seacons, ya the box is nice but the God Neptune deco is by far the best of that mold by far and away. That and I really think the club version is just really not good looking, not to mention expensive.
Would I do it? No, I prefer the God Neptune colors. If you are offering, I would take you up on the trade.
I would say... maybe. The going rate for a boxed God Neptune on Ebay seems to be about $100 US. Assuming that the color scheme isn't a big deal, then look at it this way with the TFCC version you get everything that comes with the God Neptune set plus the 6th seacon plus all the individual weapons and accessories. So if both color schemes are equally appealing to you, then I say go for it.
Eh, go for it. The coral reef coloration of the new (Classics!) Seacons rocks your socks and you know it.
No no nono NO! [/Shia] The TFCC set's packaging is the best part about it. The colors are vastly inferior to God Neptune.
Thanks to all for the input. I may try to sell some stuff in order to justify the purchase of the TFCC set. If not, fosterlager, I'll keep you in mind.
Is it too late for me to say Noooooo also God Neptune looks amazing and it is a definite keeper. The new TFC Seacons looks horrid and, at least from my point of view, should be avoided at all costs.
