Me too, but he has been stuck in customs for a long time...
SAL? it happens. Otherwise if too long, i would check with your post office. Bring tracking number to them and make them help you in person.
Now that you mention it, I chose the fast shipping. Is that SAL? How long is too long to be in customs? I have never had something held up before.
I was worried the toy gun police had found it.
Wow, its been 15 days.
I'm not happy with any Megatron currently available. MP-36 looked awkward in pictures and now that I have him, I can say he looks even worse in hand. He's got the legs of a can-can dancer. I think I may have to keep Apollyon on display.
Wasn't there a company doing a triple changer Megatron?
I have TT's version on order and no plans to buy one of the 3Ps.
They look great but MP-36 is my Megs and I don't really want duplicates of Megatron.
I suppose it's possible I could take him out of the box and hate him. But I don't think that's very likely.
I picked up MP 36 but I'm pretty sure I will be getting Wei Jiangs Megatron as well. So yes, there's room for more than one. I also think that despotron looks different enough to feel like a different take and could fit in alongside official. Apollyon matches mp10 the best so there's room for him to. But, I will only spend so much money to satisfy my MP Meg's need.
I'm still keeping my Apollyon and Despotron as I feel they are pretty well made.
Apollyon matches the aesthetics of the MP TFs before TakaraTomy went for the animated look.
Despotron reminds me of Dreamwave's comics and his build is solid for me.
Sorry, no poison for me.
I always buy 2 units at least of everything, so no big deal you buy 2 Megatron. It is far away for being "the best" with all his issues. The retail price is clear and is a price for places in which it has an official distribution.
Hold your horses. Glad to see you like it with all his issues, many others don't like it.
Are you telling me that MP36 is basically the same height as a FTs Dinobot? Cuz that seems way too tall.
He's a little over 9.5", Stomp is 10.5"
WTH are you talking about? I wasn't trying to show off. I simply said if you can design a better MP Megatron I would buy 2 from YOU. But yes, I do like MP-36. Thanks
maybe it's because english isn't my first language, but "mp 36 and the rest can go deep six" doesn't sound to me like "no thanks i'm fine with mp 36", at least because it mentions "the others".
IMHo you should correct it, if you want to keep things simple as you say.
anyway, to reply to the poll, here's my answer:
no thanks, i didn't buy anyone of the 3p offerings because way before mp 36 was released i dindn't like anyone of them, for a lot of reasons (i.e. ugly face sculpts, birthing hips, short stubby legs, fat proportions, over enlarged chest a la "i skipped leg day for a year", and so on), and i'll not buy 'em now, because, sorry, IMHO i find 'em ugly (but that's just my opinion. sorry apollyon, you totally suck for me).
now mp 36 is out, i'm fine with it, flaws and all.
is it perfect?
not at all.
but I prefer it a lot more than the current alternatives
I don't work designing toys but glad to see you found something that you like it.
The power of the internet is at your finger tips. Google is your friend.
(idiomatic) To discard, cancel, halt; to completely put an end to something.
They had put many hundreds of hours into the project before it was deep-sixed by management.
In other words, the rest are not even a factor. The rest don't count for consideration, only MP-36 counts.
Anyway, I do appreciate you taking the time to explain why you prefer MP-36. It is very logical and makes perfect sense to me. Thank you for that, again.
Thats not a good shot for poor old mp shrimpwave
Nothing that a new Quake Wave can't fix.
Despotron is pretty much what I wanted in a Megatron. My first thought upon seeing the official one was "wow, what a piece of hot garbage". Seeing more pics since then has not changed that opinion.
