    No thanks. Of course it has alot of elements that's also present in the 'regular' Transformers designs (since the designs originate from Japan)..but still no.

    Honestly, no. But if I only had the movie design or this to choose from, I'd go with this.

    I'd rather have a mix of the movie designs and this. I do like some aspect of the movie design, just I think it was taken too far.

    The main problem I have with the movie is making all the Autobots bipedal with arms and fingers. Yet making the Decepticons into crude caricatures of monsters. You will not see an Autobot with reverse knee joints or more than 2 eyes. You will not see Autobots with some form of a human hand. Yet you will with Decepticons. The Decepticons are given monster teeth, yet the Autobots aren't. Its that crude characterization that bothers me. Its a weak way of differentiating bad from good. A character should be feared more for his inner evil than what he looks on the outside. But the writers so weakly characterized the TFs that they decided to just make the Decpticons look like crude caricatures of monsters.

    Hi,

    I did not mean to take that robot in the picture to put in the movie, what i meant is the style/design. (Well, it's almost like the G1 transfo)

    To be honest.... I may be the minority here but I would have loved to see a Beast Wars movie! Now that would of been something.
