Hypothetical, if Hasbro and Bandai were able to team together and make a Toys R Us exclusive Jetfire reissue, would you pay 100.00 bucks for it? I was thinking about this while getting ready for work this morning and thought, yeah, that would be worth it. So what do you think?

I wouldn't pay only because my original Jetfire is pretty mint as it is. If the cost was say 50 bucks, then I would seriously consider it.

Definitely not $100. You can get much better new valkyries for less than that.

And no, that's NOT like saying you can get classics optimus prime for less than G1.

Maybe for $50, but not $100. Just not interested in him that much.

For $100 I could almost get another 1/48.

I think $50ish would be more realistic, but it will never happen.

Ditto. That, and all you really need to do is get a Hikaru-style VF-1J and repaint/deco it a little a bang! Jetfire!

Except for the head. You're on your own there.

A straight-up reissue? Maybe, although mine's pretty minty fresh.

I would definitely pay a couple hundred for one of the 1/48 Yamatos in a Jetfire deco, with the armor.

All Bandai has to do is change the color on their Super 1S. Should cost around $60 max.

What makes one of those valkeries any better than Jetfire? Do they have better articulation or something?

Jetfire was my very first transformer. I still have him, Although a little worse for wear. I would buy it, but not fore 100 dollars.

Same here, I've been wanting a Jetfire for years now, and I still won't budge on Ebay prices. 100? Doubt it 50? It would have to be a Dead-on reissue, not a modified classics type. Jetfire is just too beautiful to be modified.

Not for $100, I wouldn't. Jetfire might be big and rare, but he's not worth $100.

$50 maybe...but no way would I pay $100. I have an original Jetfire, and although it's missing most of it's armor and is pretty loose I'm content with it.

Not for that price, no. If it's mass retail, even a store exclusive, it'd better be cheaper than that. If it were an import like Predaking, then maybe they could justify that price, but that's still a lot.

The Bandai Valks are pretty much the same thing as Jetfire. Really just repaints and heads.
Yamato has the 1/60 and 1/48. They are better.

    Toynami is ..ummm....yeah.
I'd rather have the chunky monkey Bandai/Jetfire.
