I have a copy of the Transformers movies score for the live action movie which I bought at Borders. I know these things have been getting very expensive on the aftermarket lately, and mine is still sealed. Do you think I should open it up, or should I just try to download it somewhere from the net and keep my retail copy in its original wrapping?

I'd keep it sealed and download the mp3's - it's not like you don't own it.

Yeah. Keep it sealed and get the tunes from somewhere on the net.

    What?

Of course I would. What else would I do with it?
I'm admittedly pretty anti-download...but hell, this would be legitimate.

    I don't get it, but it's legitimate.

I still think collecting music to not listen to is ridiculous in the extreme.

Open it! Transformers must be free to roam and cherish life outside of their plastic prisons!

    ...wait, what?

Seriously though, this CD is rare enough that it'll probably be worth almost as much opened as it would be sealed.

yeah, it's rare enough that it wouldn't make a huge diff on price. i opened mine, and i Dl'd it from itunes before it arrived. course, i paid shelf price for mine day after it came out on e-bay. :)

I'm with Redline on this as well; it's a bit extreme (in my opinion) to buy a CD and not open it (and listen to it).

I do not have this album :) cry), but typically one reason I buy an actual CD versus a download is for the package artwork/interiors. Could someone describe what the CD package contains (liner notes, artwork, etc)? Thanks! :)

You can't listen to a CD without opening it, so DO IT.

Open it, rip it, and sell it.
