Since the Michael Bay Trilogy is over now, Hasbro will focus on Transformers: Prime (TV Series, Toys, Books). It is very clear from what we heard at BotCon.

Now, the question of the hour is: Would You Like To See A Transformers: Prime Live Action Movie?

*shrug* Sure why not? However I'd give it a few years first.

Even better, would be a Transformers Prime ANIMATED movie with more detailed character models (TFs and Humans both) with a higher budget with a storyline that maybe ties into the show itself, as in perhaps it deals with some minor stand-alone plot point or event from the show, but is big enough for a movie in itself.

I would prefer an animated movie myself, the budget would let them make many more character models and backgrounds... that could be used for the show itself. Remember Jimmy Neutron? They had a BUNCH of character models for their show from day one because they had just made a movie and had alot of material to use.

HOWEVEEER, a live-action movie based on Darkness Rising's plot could just work, as a soft reboot for the Bay movies. I mean, Darkness Rising was pretty much what Bob and Orci wanted to do without Bay so...

I'd adore a animated movie, but I'd probably just rent a live-action one. Why waste money on actors when you have all the good stuff right there in your computers and on your contracts?

I don't care for the options much, I'm stuck between yes and no. Yes, because I want to see another Transformers movie. No, because Transformers Prime is too similar to the live-action movie already.

I'd like to see Transformers rebooted myself, but if I can't have that, I'd rather they countinue the current story line with or without Michael Bay.

...how do I vote with these options?

Let's start it clean, I say.

I could see a DVD movie for Prime eventually, but a theatrical movie of a show on a premium cable network with two, three seasons already in the can? Nah, not gonna happen.

I definitley want a movie, but i'm not sure if I want it to be animated or live-action..because live-action would look pretty awesome..but then again so would the animated movie

    The movies are close enough.
Same aesthetic... similar bot modes... small casts...

Yeah, definitely an animated movie, not live action. If they released it about 2 years from now, that would give them plenty of time to make a proper live action sequel/prequel/reboot.

I was never a fan of animated shows getting direct live-action counterparts.

Assuming they did it right, and got the right people to work on it, I'd be all for a live-action TFP movie (kinda like those Ben10 movies). However, I think it would be smarter to do a direct-to-dvd movie using the same animation for the show

A feature-length animated film would be the proper way to go, methinks.

Yeah would prefer a well done animated movie. It would fit better than trying to take the existing style and austhetic and convert it to live action, we already have that with the Bay movies.

    Quoted for Truth.

MAking it Live action would be a waste. Make a big budget CGI film, and we get to keep all the voice actors, and not have anyone tell the film what it should do.
