Games like Left 4 Dead 2 have additional missions you can download. Would you like to see some for WFC? I think so. I'd like to one to feature The Fallen and show what happened to Dion after he got shot down by Megatron. And then unlock their chassises for multiplayer/unlock them for Escalation.
I'd like them to feature the DLC characters, would be nice. Also, one on Zeta Prime wouldn't be bad either.
Yeah that would be totally awesome. I could see ones taking place during the main game bing labeled Chapter -insert roman numeral- .1-9, and new ones being completely new Chapters, just added on.
I would like stuff using the Autobots and Decepticons that dont get campaign use. A Prison Break mission with Jazz, Arcee and Blue guy - Leading your guys through the prison to the ships, using turrets on the ship to hold off seekers and then landing and escorting the Autobots to safety. A mission directly following that with Shockwave, Slipstream and Starscream going after the escaping Autobots - Not exactly sure how this would work, I guess following the ships and shooting them down? Lead that into an on foot section chasing the Autobots through the ruins of a city? Cant really find a use for Demolishor given the structure of All Flyers/All Ground. I guess he could be in the Prison as security for a cameo?
Oh definately. I'd like to see maybe an extra two chapters, one Con and one Bot, picking up right after Trypticon's defeat.
This is the type of DLC that I want. Like .5 chapters or something, that can tell some in between stories, or such.
it would be nice as Spoiler they do kinda just gloss over the whole construction of the ark so some more missions to cover that and what the cons got up to when they found out what was going down would be cool
There's that. Also would like to see the Spoiler staged raid Prime set up to get captured and sent to Kaon's Prison complex. (Which could include the use of Arcee) Spoiler And Starscream's attack on Iacon's main forces. (Which could include the use of Slipstream)
All of what you guys' wrote are good ideas. Since I'm a g1-toon fan, I would love if they did some kind of tie-in mission to that first 5 minutes of the first g1 episode where Wheeljack and Bumblebee are stealing energy conductors and have to get away from the seekers. All of this stuff is not entirely out of the question, as they've done extra missions to other games...
I would like it, but games must be made with future DLC in mind for this to work. I don't think War for Cybertron was programmed with future episodic DLC in mind
I think all games these days are programed with DLC in mind. Even if they don't create any, I'm sure they want the option to make more money.
I wish Grimlock was in the console version. I want an entire chapter following him and two other dinobots. I'd like to see some combiners too, that would be nice. Include the Constructicons and the other combaticons and aerialbots. Hell, lets skip forward into the future a bit in this continuity and bring in UNICRON!
He means DLC episodes. I'm sure it has the ability to have DLC characters and maps. But whole new campaign modes are unlikely because the game wasn't designed with it in mind.
