The animation would be completely redone. However, the audio would mostly be the same.

The animation may be changed as long as it fits the audio - different character designs, different actions etc... for example, before they wake up in 1984, the Transformers have their Cybertronian designs. Some characters would also be added to backgrounds where they weren't there previously such as those characters who were neglected. And special attention would be made to correct the animation and continuity errors that were present before too.

We would also see a tie-in to Beast Wars. The Nemesis would be shown crash landing in its location where it was found in Beast Wars. Perhaps even a brief cameo of Beast Wars characters exploring the Ark while the Autobots and Decepticons were in deactivated.

    No, that's completely pointless.

Not really... granted I would probably like it if it came out, but I could certainly do without.

No. I prefer hand drawn cartoons over CGI.

Why would I want that? It's something that's already been done before. I'd rather have new stories.

This give me new things. Do a cgi g1 retelling but have it be a new interpretation.

No, leave the past alone. I love G1, believe me, I'm as g1-purist as it gets, but no, I don't want any updates of past stuff. If they want to do something with G1, I'd rather them do something like a direct-to-video adaptation of some of the IDW stuff or other g1 stories. The stuff that's been done before should be left alone.

Put me down as a no. I'm a fan of old school cartoons all the way across the board from Charlie Brown to Pink Panther. Don't ruin my childhood by messing up the G1 cartoon.

Sounds like a winner to me.

Really? Care to share a link to the fixed, CG G1 redo?

No, PRIME is PRIME, not G1.

"A CGI retelling, but have it be a new interpretation."

That's pretty much what Prime is.

Not what I meant, but you want a G1 redo that uses CG to "fix" things? Ok.

YouTube - Transformers Generation 2 Intro

YouTube - Transformers Generation 2 commercials

Went over real well and is universally regarded as a high point for the franchise, if I recall correctly.

What I DID mean was why would I want the same stories over again, with a new cgi gloss? G1 was 25 years ago, and since then we've had Beast Wars, RiD, Animated, the movies, etc. Why go back and retread the same ground again, instead of forging forward?

The ending battle had robots in fucking lab coats. 2d animation got away with how stupid that look because you can fudge things, in 3d render do you have any idea how even more fucking retarded that was?

Dont get me wrong, i love all things g1 but its kind of like climbing trees in public. Its cute when your kid but as an adult youll look like fucking moron with your wife standing there going GET DOWN DAN YOURE EMBARASSING US.

I'd rather see a collection of the greatest scenes from all the shows realised in CGI. Like the "It was always real to me" video from a few years back, but expanded to show several scenes. Have it as a "primer" video, a special 40 minute episode covering all continuities even the Japanese ones, and have it narrated by Vector Prime or Alpha Trion.

Would make for a good 30th anniversary special.
