    :lol

    This.

Anyway, NO WAY. Have you seen Iron Man: Armored Adventures? Good show, but the animation is awful and the shading is ugly.
I mean seriously, we wouldn't even get to see the little sparkly bits in Optimus' paint!

Right, like I said. Each individual polygon gets its own different color to simulate light. No thanks. Give me Prime's fluid expensiveness anyday.

Oh okay. Sorry about that.  I thought he meant Uprising not Legacy.

Legacy had a bigger budget so of course it's animation's going to be bigger and better then CGI made for TV Even for Prime despite how good it is by TV standereds.

Again sorry for not catching that. I'm getting sleepy so I wasn't paying attention that time.

but i started off with "Uprising"...

anyway, i'm not biased on animation. as long as it's visible and easy to follow, i'm ok.

I love the current animation for prime , makes it feel more real now tron uprising looks cool to but i'd prefer they finish prime and have the new show use this. probably wouldn't be as easy to look at as prime but maybe a lil cheaper

Isn't Tron Uprising made in Cel animation which is cheaper and therefor can afford more characters?

Edit:And maybe not canceled but brought to an end quicker and in a way that leaves stuff unresolved but also brings others to an ending. That way we can have the next continue the story but not be a remake.

BIG NO! Transformers Prime is one of the nicest CGI animated TV shows I've seen and has actually given me hope for the medium. It also brought me to actually want to and look forward to learning Maya on my animation course as it proves you can make great models in the system and not just awful ones.

I was gonna say something like this...that show is so ugly, most the non-main characters have soulless eyes which also makes it uncanny.

All CGI cartoons aren't equal so I'll say that Transformers Prime is better than some of the other series I've seen. While it's better than some other series I just can't bring myself to say that I love the style. Just something about the style that I don't like.

For some reason I just liked the style of cartoons better before they started going CGI with cartoons. The hand drawn style just seemed more warm and alive while CGI just feels kind of cold. For some reason CGI cartoon battles don't seem as cool and as epic as with the more traditional styles.

Then again I'm kind of picky because I don't like 70's anime.

Cel-Shading always looked ugly to me, the only place I can stand it in is Zelda Wind Waker (In fact I LOVE it in there, they used it so well)

I like what we have, but I'm a sucker for animation, which is why I voted unsure.

When Transformers Prime has run its course (never, I hope), bring on the next best thing;)

tron uprising is fine for what it is, but i think the CGI in Prime really helps add a sense of weight and characters for the bots and cons alongside human and human buildings.

Also- CGI characters are a lot more intricate and interesting. Hand drawn or cell-shaded characters would not be nearly as complex because someone would have to be doing the fine detail work for each animation cell. Although i may limit new characters, TFP style animation has given us much more enduring, compelling characters designs than TFA did.

Also- Nemesis Prime transformation sequence ftw.

I think we're good with the animation style we have now. where is the need to change? it's refined a lot since the first episode and, frankly, I like it the way it is.

I really didn't like anything about TRON Uprising. I prefer 2-D animation, but between Prime and TRON, I'll take Prime as is.
