    ...custom professionally made lasers for the classics seekers?

    Personally, I don't care for the ones they have. They are too big. I'd like to see some like MP Starscream's, only scaled down to fit them. Would there be a market for such a thing? I can reverse engineer, scale down, and mass produce them in 5 colors ( for each release of the mold ) but it's quite a financial commitment. Would there be enough interest in these to make it worth my while? Price would be around $4-$5 per pair.

    Possibly, although I must admit I'm not a fan of the Masterpiece style ones. G1 style, I'd definitely go for. But similarly, if I liked the look of them I could easily go for a set of each.

    Out of curiosity... five colours? Which five would those be? I'm guessing Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Thrust, and... what, Acid Storm?

    Gray = Starscream ( US and Henkei )
    White = 25th ann. repaint
    Black = Skywarp ( can also go on Acid Storm and Thundercracker )
    Blue = Henkei Thundercracker
    Green = Acid Storm

    I was thinking MP style because that looked G1 to me. G1 cartoon anyway. As for the G1 toy lasers ( that shoot ), they are too complex for me to make and sell for under $5 per pair.

    As soon as I'm able to get ahold of a good 3D program and render them, I'll show them.

    I'd get a pair for each seeker, just so long as the colors match up and they look good. I always thought Classics lasers were oversized.

    At $5? Yeah, most likely. Would like to see pictures first obviously.

    Agreed. My only complaint with the classics seekers is that their lasers/launchers can't be posed without moving their wings.

    Not to piss in your cheerios, but I THINK Darkov was already working on this over in the Radicons Repro threads... or at least, repro missiles that resemble G1 rather than the lumpy nerf guns the Classics come with.

    Any way you want to slice it, I'd be all about some MPSS style guns, classics-sized, myself. The guys who make Hydrospan also make another compound now, which SHRINKS, so it might be easier to pull this off than you think...

    I'd definitely be interested. I lost the launchers to my Thundercracker repaint (I think the cats made off with 'em) and, like others, the inability to pose the Classics without moving their wings back is a real bother.

    Depending on what he comes up with, it may not be worth my time then. I doubt the market would be big enough for both of us. He'd sell some, I'd sell some, neither of us would make our money back and both go in the hole. IF he is just making missiles for the existing launchers, or if he's scratchbuilding and using 2-part resin, then I'll still proceed. I'm planning to do them in 3D and have a steel mold made, then have a local plastic place churn out a bunch in ABS plastic. So it would be higher quality.
