I would and I have all four done so far. The four that have been done are pretty nice. They go great with other e-Hobby/G2/Diaclone decoes. Screech especially, love that rust copper color on the diecast! Any other Autobots done in movie colors would be instabuys for me.

 

I like the idea. I'd jump at the silver Sideswipe.

Would have to be a pretty limited line - say a dozen toys, maximum, before contradictions start happening (Wheelie, Soundwave, etc.) and somebody online goes crazy / has an exploding head.

 

Sure, as long as they're not uberly expensive and only certain ones that look good.

 

I think a G1 reissue of Optimus Prime in the movie deco is almost inevitable. Actually, I'm surprised we haven't gotten it by now. As for others, I'd like them, but they'd take a backseat to other things I'm interested in getting at the moment.

 

^Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the upcoming Takara G1/Deluxe Prime 2 pack come with G1 inspired colors for the former?
Hmm, depending on the finishing done for Dotm Deluxe Prime, I woldnt mind getting it.  
Also, on topic: If G1 Prime came with the flame decor ala Movie Prime and chrome bits, id hit it.  

 

I don't think so, or at least from the photos we've seen thus far it's not.

In seriousness though, I think it would be a good idea. I have the black Ironhide and even the green Ratchet, Bumblebee with stripes would look nice, and G1 Starscream with the movie tattoos would look pretty cool IMO.

And even thought they're not the same character, I think G1 Prowl repainted as Barricade would be awesome!

 

G1 figures with movie decos would be a bit... well, kinda dull.

Now, if you took Classics/Universe/Generations molds and did them in movie colors, maybe even paired with G1 colored versions of movie figures, that might be kind of cool.

Yea I would buy some I have already got white and red ratchet but I would like a red sideswipe (Cant remeber if G1 sideswipe is red or not)

 

I'd be really interested to see what some of the figures would look like. The Bumblebee in the opening post looks great for a start. Anyone knock up any more in photoshop?

Also this, too. I wouldn't mind the original molds or Classics, but Classics seems easier right now. Plus I already have my Movie-striped Classic bee so...might as well add more to the collection. I'd actually like to see Classics Prime with flames.
