Would you buy deluxe generations combiners IF?

    Hypothetical question

Seen as though the collectors line we have right now (generations) is only deluxes and hasbro has said that combiners take too much engineering to be done at a regular pricepoint (or as small as scouts) how would you feel if Habro made a combiner in generations bear in mind there may be 4 cost driven drawbacks.

    1. You pay deluxe price for a scout/smaller than average deluxe
    2. You have to wait for later waves to get the next combiner member
    3. The leader is a deluxe too
    4. Some of the molds may be repaints

would any of these conditions stop you from purchasing it and why?

I would buy it. They are combiners. I pay how much for FP Stuff? I can also trust FP To make them better when needed.

Deluxe class would be wonderful for guys like Technobots, Aerialbots, Seacons, Stunticons et cetera. Then use Voyagers (or bring back the Ultra class) for their team leaders.

    Eff the PCCs.

I don't like the classic style of Combiners because you always end up with one good bot and four lousy bots. Breaking them up into individual packages is also a terrible idea.

I dont know about that i think the energon combiners pulled it off pretty well of course the sacrifice was in the combined mode but if more money was put into the limb bots development to give them extra accesories or joints we could end up with something more like the combiners after the fansproject add ons.

Which i assure you if you dont have them are very solid and very poseable in both modes

I would be extremely tempted if they released 5 figures in a wave what could combine into one. EXTREMELY TEMPTED...

I would be all over combiners from hasbro. Don't care about the price.

Release them in separate parts. Leaders for the torso and deluxe/voyager for the limbs. BOOM all bought by me.
I would actually rather them be in different waves.

Is there a reason they can not, or will not hypothetically, make expansion packs of legend sized limb figures for PCC's? I personally would love to see a scramble-city style of PCC Transformers, but if there is going to be stick it the mud, then make all of the land vehicles legs, and all of the aircraft arms.

Nah, no factor is too big to ever deter me from getting an updated Combiner (IF one ever gets made, that is)

Just look at Nexus Maximus, the whole project took 5 years & people still waited for it. ;)
