If Hasbro brought out a leader class ROTF Prime trailer, that transformed into a weapons ring, at the Leader class price point, would you buy it?

    I definitely would.

if it transforms into the loop weapon holder? Sure.

If it doesn't, it better be 5 bucks.

Probably not. As tempting as it sounds, the reality is that I have no need for a $50 box for my ROTF Leader Optimus. Especially when he probably wouldn't be able to use any of the weapons included, and I only really have interest in the shoulder blade panels and fuel tank cannon pieces from Buster OP. (the shoulder blade panels look like they'd be easier to swap than the fuel tanks/fuel tank attachment points themselves)

I'd maybe pick it up on sale if the weapons platform came with some interesting extra weapons. Otherwise, no.

Realistically, though, I'm not sure you'd be able to get a trailer, scaled to the pre-existing Leader Optimus Prime figure's vehicle mode, that also transforms into a fully-stocked weapons platform, at the Leader price point. It would probably have to be at the Supreme price point, sacrifice the vehicle mode scale and/or not include extra weapons in the weapon platform mode. Any one of those three things would probably be a deal-breaker for most people in the fandom and the general public isn't likely to buy a stand-alone trailer for a figure released a couple of years ago.

It would need to be extremely well done. I have the Jetwing Prime, Ultimate Prime, and Takara Voyager Prime w/ trailer all of which I think are pretty awesome. To spend $40-$50 just for the trailer it would need to be executed with weapons, nice paint decos, etc.

Honestly I'd be more interested in one for the HftD voyager Optimus Prime.

hasbro will never do this as it's a niche item for a collector market. for them to produce it, it would have to include prime and probably retail $70-80.

you'd have to look towards 3rd party for an item like this to be made properly. and I don't say that as a knock to hasbro, but that their resources can't be spent on making an item like this that a handful of collectors/fans want. 3rd party can, and they might be able to make it look legit like the one from dotm.

I'd consider a 3rd party transformable leader prime trailer for 70-80 if it operated like the dotm trailer. That seems fair considering the G3 trailer is around that price point.

Definately would on one condition, the thing doesn't have to be chromed, though it would be nice, just painted properly and not the boring grey plastic like HA soundwave.

Though for a trailer to transform into that weapons ring, it might need ot be a parts-former which is fine by me. As long as we don't get boring grey plastic.

While we're at it, we may as well wish for a TRU reissue of Fortress Maximus.

Yes. I would buy it at whatever price point. Heck, I would buy this if the guy was offering to sell.
