I would totally hit the mold a second time if the grey plastic were cast in white. I think that would look amazing.

I would have a hard time getting excited about a jetpack unless it somehow integrated into truck mode.

Little action figure people - couldn't care less.

I second this. If it comes out the same price as MP Rod, I will.

I would definitely buy it, but then again, I'm planning on buying Hasbro's eventual release of it anyways. I personally would want Roller to stay a part of the set, but since they'll inevitably cut the trailer, he's doubtful. As for the human they include with him, I don't really care, as I'll probably just throw them into my parts bin anyways.

Price is more a factor then anything. I'm still a big fan of my mp-01, but if this was in the $60 range (NOT $250 :lol ), I'd be in.

I really would like a US version with the trailer too. I mean, we're pretty sure UM is coming out with his trailer (that makes his armor) so if they don't try selling Prime in the US with his trailer, they'll never bring Magnus over.

Nope. The new design is SO cartoon accurate that it would just look incomplete without the trailer in alt mode imo. Plus I'm just sick of this 'no trailer' business that's now become the norm for Hasbro's releases. And I'm not a fan of Hasbro's cartoon color decos. I've always thought they made the figures look extraordinarily cheap - which is exactly why I never got their versions of MP Prime or Rodimus.

The jet pack idea is good, and I was actually surprised that gimmick wasn't included with MP-10. With all their other little G1 episode nods in MP releases, I figured we would have seen a jet pack by now - at least via Takara.

I planned to pick it up before anything was really announced on the US release. I'm hoping it comes with some cool accessories, like the axe, gun, maybe some extra guns based on other toys. Perhaps a Roller that turns into his Jet Pack?

I would buy it if it came with his G1 gun. Don't really need any other accessory.
The only reason I haven't bought the Takara release is that it comes with the trailer (which adds to the price, and I'd never use it).

Absolutely. Sparkplug and jet pack would likely just go into a bin though.

    This

I'd rather have the trailer since his alt. mode is so nice this time around. It really completes the look. I'd pay $100-125 for the US release.

I didn't care about it for MP-01, since the truck mode was only so-so.

I think Hasbro will release a trailer version as well. They already have a movie trailer version.

In addition, if they are ever going to do a proper Ultra Magnus and have it released here in the state, they would have to have a trailer. So they will want to test the US Market at the $100 price point with a trailer before throwing UM at us.

    Just my opinion.

Yes, because I'm a cheap bastard who is not willing to pay $200 for a Masterpiece figure.

prefer spike, but ya I'd pick it up. Better yet include both humans and I'll be good. Keep roller in the package as well.

I would certainly like a fixed version of MP10 Optimus Prime from Hasbro. The current version has head that's splitting apart.

Sure, I liked the US offering of Rodimus Prime. No bulky trailer, but another special accessory. US MPs are pretty much always worth buying IMO unless you don't like the character, you have the Japanese one already, etc.

I'd like to see what price Hasbro would charge for the MP-10 set exactly as is. The trailer is a definitive part of G1 toy/toon Prime, so it would be nice to see them give us the complete article. It makes up for the downsizing since MP-01 :)

Also, what's all this about Prime's jetpack? Sideswipe might have something to say about that!! :lol
