Idea from Torque, digibash courtesy of the delicious Whitemocha.

I want so hard. Makes good sense and looks good too. Thoughts?

I would buy that just because its chromedome. I'm not sure I want that mold (I hate fake wheels), but I'd buy it without hesitation as chromedome.

Would prefer a new figure with the actual headmast gimmick implemented though.

Always up for more Chromedome. One of my favorite Headmasters. I just want Hasbro to remake more of the Headmaster characters, even if they don't have the actual Headmaster gimmick, we can always 3rd-party that stuff later.

On the same thought, it'd be awesome if 3rd parties made the leap from making Headmasters and made more actual bodies (Transtectors).

Am I down in theory? Very yes. Am I down with that particular figure? Kind of. I'd prefer a different mold, I think, but if it were that or nothing, I'd be satisfied with it.

In fact, I think that the WFC/FOC universe is a great place for updates of the 86-89 characters and their futuristic altmodes.

    I would buy any Chromedome.

Frankly, I'd buy any character from Headmasters onwards, since that was my thing when I was a child.

More than likely. In fact, once FOC Jazz drops, I'm willing to bet this will be a popular custom repaint.

Think Shockwave would make a decent Brainstorm? I can see the robot mode with a new head working, but not sure about the alt mode

It's a great idea, Torque! I never would have thought of it, but I think it works. And yeah, I'd buy it... I love me some Chromedome!

I also think Aeranoth is spot-on with the point that the WFC/FOC aesthetic is a good fit for the futuristic late-G1 characters.

    I'd buy that.

I'm fine with my RtS Jazz as Jazz, but I like the mold, so any repaints would be welcome.

Which also makes me wonder what's going to balance out all of those Combaticons in the upcoming waves? Surely they aren't going to release 6 Decepticons and only 2 Autobots?

I'd love a Chromedome, but those colors are bringing out flaws in the design I never noticed. Or maybe it's just the different style of chest.

the FOC figs are part of the generations line IIRC, so there are still 32 other figures in this year's releases, not sure if any other will be FOC however

I would get it - and yes, I think it is a possibility considering how Hasbro reuses molds with new heads..........

I would probably buy it, assuming it looked good and wasn't too hard to find. It's not something I would expect Hasbro to do. Though honestly, I'd rather see this mold turned into Wheelie...and I'm not joking about that either.
