Would you buy 194/1985/1986 Mini-Bot repaints packaged as Cyberverse/Legends toys?

I want them to update the rest of the Minibots in Cyberverse. Seaspray and Powerglide, please. As for the Minibots repackaged, Iunno. Maybe.

I would buy updated G1 minis in Cyberverse/Legends. I was suprised we only got the six from the Universe 2.0 line. Well seven counting the Cliff re-deco of Bee in Heinkei. Why didn't get an Outback re-deco of Brawn? But, yes and I would like all to have decent articulation. And they should do Firecons, Sparkabots, Throttlebots and Cyberjets as well.

How about Cyberverse update packaged with the original G1 mold fo the figure?

How cool would it have been to have a pack containing both G1 Powerglide and his Cyberverse Commander version? And maybe his Universe Ultra version.

I'd love a Collectors pack containing Warpath in his Legends, G1 and Generations molds. Maybe with a Warpath mini comic containing his original tech specs profile and a history of the character appearances in the various TF media over the years. Then it really would've been a 'Generations' release.

But, going back to the original thread question: yes, I would buy them.

No, but then I wouldn't still be a TF fan is the engineering hadn't gotten light years better.

Eh, maybe a couple for nostalgia, but it doesn't really interest me.

One like the 3rd Party ones are fine with me. they have better joints too.
The Keychain idea might be a good idea to revisit though and the same idea would work for casettes too.

I'm afraid not, while the Mini-Bots are quite fun little buggers, I've slowly sold off all of my original and re-issue G1 Mini-Bots simply because the designs no longer hold any interest for me.

Personally I can't see Hasbro wasting any time with re-packing and re-releasing 25+ year old toys like the Mini-Bots in what is meant to be a new mainline and taking up slots that could be filled with new Cyberverse molds to really grab the kids.

On top of that, considering how the Cyberverse line is, with the gummy plastic weapons, would you honestly want to see Mini-Bots full of little holes on the sides and top to accomodate the weapons? They would look terrible!

As in straight re-issues or made into updated Cyberverse molds?

    I would get both! I love Mini-bots and Cyberverse/Legends. :)

Doesn't matter if WE would do so. What matters if RETAILERS would do so, so parents can buy them for their kids.

And I highly doubt, outside maybe TRU (and they're probably gunshy after the old reissues) that retailers would be clamoring for almost 30 year old toys.
