And what do you call All Hail Megatron, Chaos, Heart of Darkness and the other recent IDW storylines we have been getting?

I'd bring it back in a heartbeat. Especially War Within and the main G1 line. Both of those titles felt like they were really building to something big and tremendous. Idw's -tion series kind of had that feeling, but after that, well not so much.

Dreamwave was fantastic and I miss those books. They were one of the major reasons I returned to the fandom. IDW has given us nothing but unfinished stories that lead to nothing.

I luved the War Within storyline & it'd be sweet if they decided to resurrect it some day - as long as that one particular f#ckwit has nothing to do with it. Then again - What if The Fallen had a whole storyline dedicated to him? now that would be sweet. :D

I'm fairly lukewarm on the idea of doing so for the War Within and Energon, since Furman released the summaries of how those issues were going to go. But even before that, I wasn't too bothered. I AM legitimately interested in finding out where in the heck the Brad Mick duo were going with their constantly-growing tangle of sub-plots, though.

War Within (to some extent but that's become Exodus/Exiles.) But why no one say Energon and Cybertron.

Simon Furman would have wrote it as a Universe Collides saga. Come on that would be frickin awesome.

I agree! Also, I wish they would finish the War Within, RID, and that cover with Prime/Magnus back to back storyline.

Given that I grew up on and loved the Marvel UK comic, the fact that I grew to love the Dreamwave comics as much says a lot.

I loved their grasp of each character. I regularly return to the MTMTE books. They didn't turn Prowl into the whiner Furman does. Same with Sunstreaker. I love their profiles on Sunstreaker, Repugnus, Detour, Prowl, Sludge, Scoop, Squeezeplay, Scorponok and Scourge to mention but a few. They gave the Micromasters clear cut, interesting characterisations.

I loved that they gave us Sunstorm and Bumper and it looked like Soundblaster was going to be independant of Soundwave which I liked. Sunstorm was an interesting villain, even Bumblebee questioned as to whether he was really evil.

I could go on. I just loved everything, even Micromasters.

What would I like to see? WW3 continued.

G1 ongoing continued with more Sunstorm.

More Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. More Seeker drones.

Energon continued and leading into Cybertron and Universe with MTMTE profile books.

G1 MTMTE expansion books featuring the likes of Soundblaster, Acid Storm and the Robotmasters.

Flashback issues where we see things like Carnivac and Catilla working together.

Headmasters and Targetmasters on Nebulos. Only thing I disliked was the referral to Nebulos as Nebulon.

I would try and get Roche and Roberts on board and tie Last stand of the Wreckers with G1 continuity.

Do Dreamwave version of Megatron: Origin.

Tie War For Cybertron with War Within.

Give us Matrix Affinity Thunderwing NOT the Stormbringer atrocity.

Back in the day, Marvel Transformers was good but had just as much garbage crap in it's own right as IDW has. (Let's just make it honest and say IDW takes the cake in crap, I was literally going to quit buying an ongoing G1-ish related Transformers book until the last 3-4 issues)

Dreamwave was cohesive, at least as much as u can be in the comic boook world.

They had direction. Issues related to one another without a payoff 5 yrs in the making with 10 issues of ensuing crap in the interim.

War Within was for the most part a nicely done series and shed light well on past events.

I wish they still existed if only for their TF comics.

I think I would most like to have seen the dreamwave take on beast wars the preview was full of intrigue and mystery and seemed to be an alternative beast wars sequel to beast machines which could have been great. they could have gradually brought in some of the characters from beast wars neo and II like magmatron in hopefully a less overwhelming way than idw did.

I never read Dreamwave, but most of the scans, synopses, logic holes, and especially the art I've seen are absolutely groanworthy. Leave that piss-poor fanwank in the past.

I must've missed the part where he said those were the pinnacle of Transformers comics.
