    ROTF MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD

....the Movie Devastator figure? Assuming that the rumors are true and Devastator is going to be in the film, would you rather have a Devasator that loosely resembles the one in the movie because all the combining gimmicks are built in (like Tripredacus) or would you prefer lots of kibble (like the original Devasator's head, fists, and hips) and get a more accurate figure?

Myself, I say bring on the kibble!

Kibble can usually be pulled off, so either way is fine for me.

This. Either find a way to incorperate the kibble into the toy (either as weapons or armor) or don't bother making it. I'm not planning to buy an combining brick with useless stuff on it....

    Both QFT.

I can't think of a single new mold combiner since BW that had useless kibble, so it's not like it can't be done.

These days it's rare to find TFs with weapons that don't hide (except for a couple animated WTF?) and the first movie toys did an excellent job of it other than Jazz. So I think that it's likely that we'll get no kibble or very well hidden kibble.

I must admit I've got a lot less tolerant lately of extraneous parts - not having vehicle bits hanging off a robot; that's fine. But having stuff in robot mode that has nowhere to go in alt mode, or vice versa. On the whole, if something doesn't quite fit and it's not absolutely necessary, leave it off, sez I.

So putting out another question, what will the toy be like overall? Will it be a Supreme class masterpiece in a huge box, with the figure capable of being split apart into 3 or more robots?

The movie toys (deluxe class especially) are amazingly engineered. They could do stuff like Bumblee's gun for a hand and Dropkick's claw/bedcover or Ironhide's cannons for the extra parts. It can be done, and probably will.

Being seven individuals, I hope and pray we see the largest Transformers combiner ever. I fear, however, we'll get a really bad tiny-individual-bots version that has gimpy-simple transformations.

    Prove me wrong Hasbro. Please.

Not sure, It really depends on how they handle the toy, and how it actually combines. Personally I'd be fine with some kibble, as I've never really had a problem with it in the past. As long as it looks good in it's three modes (alt, bot, and gestalt), I'll be happy, and most likely get it. I'll probably also get a Prime, Bumblebee, Corvette-bot, Tracks-bot, Beat-bot, Volt-bot (even if there isn't one in the movie, you just know they'll make a toy out of that thing), and a Soundwave in addition to the Constructicons. Making my origional plan to buy 5 more movie figures into 15...

6 of them form Devistator and the 7th forms useless kibble that sticks off the back. Everyone wins.

I like combiners like RID Railracer and Landfill. I didnt like the Cybertron ones (cept Devestator, a little). I'd prefer it was all self contained like Thread Winner said.

But if it has to have snap on feet/hands/head... It would be cool to have the weopons transform into those parts.

It'd be great to have em in AT LEAST voyager size too but I highly doubt it. :cry

But hey, if they could do em all deluxe size (AT LEAST!!!), it wouldnt be TOO bad... I hope (looks at deluxe Bonecrusher)
