had a random thought if Bay decides to bring back Megatron, Starscream or Soundwave, what you would prefer an real ressurection (like they did with Megs in ROTF) or an reformat (like Megs to Galvatron and such)

eagc, watch some Transformers other than the movies. Some of the shows. Maybe read some comics or something. Then maybe you could get over your obsession that everything needs to be about Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave. Because it doesn't.

 

Would anyone mind if they brought back Megatron without a resurrection? I've thought up how they could do it.

It seems likely Megatrons spark was left intact but everyone assumes it faded away when he was decapitated. But he was covered in those little Scalpel type doctors. Maybe even Scalpel himself.

Before Megatrons spark has time to fade, the doctors start to repair his head and alter it to hold his spark, like Igor, only not insane. They succeed but Megatrons personality was altered due to having an axe stuck in his brain. His new personality considers his old one a failure so he changes his name to Galvatron to separate himself from his old personality. This could also work as a reference to Beast Machines, when Megs spark got trapped in a diagnostic drone.

The doctor then realize that, after the patchwork repair in ROTF, its decay after the Egypt battle and having parts ripped out by Optimus in DOTM, Megatrons body is finally beyond repair. They then decide to repair Sentinel Primes powerful body. They do so and give it a new external look. They then move Megatrons spark from his head to Sentinels body, remove Sentinels head and put Megatrons on instead.

Megatron is now repaired with an altered personality and the powerful body of Sentinel Prime but with a new look.

I want a new villain but thought that up anyway.

Why get back on topic? This a horse that has been beaten to death since rumors of fourth film began to circulate and guess what: nobody wants to see any of the dead Decepticons resurrected. You are the only one. So please, for all our sakes, just let it go.

 

No, i am not the only one, there are other people who wants those 3 back, i made many who you want to be ressurected threads and some people voted for megatron, Starscream and Soundwave (those threads had a none option if you ask)

 

Well, they're more then likely idiotic movie fans who never experienced any other piece of Transformers media in their life and only care about the stupid films.

Why those 3? Why not other characters? Like Barricade, Brawl, Blackout, Shockwave, Laserbeak and the Constructicons? Do they have to revive Megatron and Starscream? No.

 

I'm willing to continue saying that Shockwave survived.

 

If he does survive, He needs to come back with personality. I was pretty crushed that they missed out on Shockwave. Considering they used the Fallen, a comic only character. I figured when it was announced that he would be a major villain in DotM, that they would more than likely base him off of the more comic style personality. The logical dominator type, rather than the desk job lackey of Megatron in G1.
Sometimes I wonder if it was planned to develop Shockwave further, I recall that Corey Burton was offered the part again, but declined. Would this have been to say one line? Also, I heard rumor that David Warner would voice him(This would be AMAZING!). Maybe they could not settle on a voice and he gradually got worked out.
Since I first saw DotM, I've thought if I could change something it would be to have Shockwave be the one in cahoots with Sentinel Prime rather than Megatron. Here goes: Sentinel helps Shockwave depose Megatron, whom is thought killed, but surprisingly returns to ally with the Autobots. Perhaps working toward a Shockwave vs. Megatron battle whilst Op vs. Sentinel is going on. And once these fights have been concluded, a real last battle between Optimus and Megatron.

I'm saying your view of what Transformers is, is too narrow.

You remind me of my nephew when he was 3. He liked blueberries. Would you like a strawberry or a raspberry? No, just blueberries. If you like blueberries so much, there is a good chance you will also like one of these other berries if you just try ONE. No, get that shit out of my face. I only want blueberries and if you try to put another kind of berry in front of me, I am going to throw it on the ground. Okay, okay.

Flash forward a couple years, and my nephew now likes strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, pretty much any kind of berries. All great. But back when he was 3, you couldn't tell him shit. Blueberries or nothing.

 

Whatever, Decepticons will die like coward during movie, so whats the deal?

 

Neither. Megatron, Soundwave, and Starscream are all dead. Let them stay dead if they're going to continue the continuity.
