Optimus Prime would probably die. Only because he's done so in almost every other continuity.

I don't know. We'd have to sort out the horrible time warp black hole singularities of minds far beyond our understanding causing Hasbro to kill of their signature cash cow.

They'd grow up, and 10 years later they'll come on TFW posting about how Prime Bumblebee's death was the most traumatic and meaningful death of all of Transformers.

    Yup.

If you wanna get technical, Optimus is already "dead" due to the memory wipe. However death in a more physical sense (i.e. Orion kicking the bucket) is a different question.

As for Bumblebee, I don't see him getting killed off. He is popular with the younger fans, and Hasbro wouldn't want to lose that. And frankly, I'd rather 'Bee get heavily damaged and require a rebuild into Goldbug.

I don't think they'll kill off Prime, its way too cliched and the show seems to be going for the unexpected.

If one had to die, let it be Bumblebee. But then again, Hasbro would probably keep him around as a beeping ghost. Then come out with twenty different ghost Bumbllebee figures.

I think having his voice capacitor ripped appart by Megatron himself is cruel enough.

As I've mentioned in the past, Hasbro won't lose a cent from killing off Bumblebee. They'll still keep pumping out toys of the little yellow bastard, and they'll still sell like hotcakes.

Cruel to us, you mean. All that beeping and booping grates on my nerves, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

IMO the R2-D2 beep-boop bit works fine if you happen to actually be R2-D2, but with Bumblebee the whole "Let's give him some kind of cute vocal gimmick so that he can't actually talk!" thing has really become annoying to me. That said, I don't think Hasbro will have the cajones to kill 'Bee off at all, let alone before he's managed to get his voice back, IF the latter's even in the cards for this show (and I hope to the heavens it is...that's the thing took me out of ROTF right away).

As for Optimus...meh, I don't consider amnesia as even a 'technical' death, because as has been pointed out elsewhere, if he and Megatron broke paths before, they're bound to do it again. Even if his memory is permanently lost, I can't see Optimus' established personality fading so completely that he wouldn't end up going back down the road of realizing that his ol' buddy Megatronus has gone off his rocker.

Bee's already a non-character in the cast anyway, so I don't see a problem with his continued existence.

    But that's me.

If Bumblebee doesn't ever get his voice back or even have a personality. Then yeah kill him off.

Hasbro will still make more toys and the kids will sadly buy them.

If I had my choice, I'd ball-up and kill Bumblebee. I don't think that'll happen though.

Between the two, Optimus is more likely to die.

I really utopia (cookie to whoever gets the reference) that Optimus doesn't die. I'd like to have a series that doesn't kill him for once (Yes, I know that he didn't die in RID).

Bumblebee dying would be amazing, I hate the little shit. Kill him, bring in Hot Shot.

Sorry to say this but I HIGHLY doubt Bumblebee will die anytime in TFP. He's pretty much Hasbro's money making machine and if he gets killed off mant children will carry on about it and parents will complain to Hasbro about killing off their favourite character. Remember how the same thing happened in 1986 when the G1 movie killed of beloved characters? Many parents complained about that too especially with Optimus's death. Hasbro doesn't want to go through that again. Even if many of you want him dead it's honestly not going to happen. I can see Optimus dieying but only at the series finale that is.
