I'm really enjoying "Transformers Prime" despite the flaws with the last two episodes. I would love an Elita One led spin-off series. On Earth, you could have "Team Prime" led by Optimus Prime fighting Megatron, Starscream, and their Decepticon team. Somewhere in space, you could have "Team One" led by Elita One fighting Shockwave and his team of Decepticons.

So who would you want on Elita One's and Shockwave's teams. I don't want Elita One to lead some silly all girl force like she did in G1. I would like her to have BOTH male and female competent warriors on her team just like Prime has on his team. So who would you want to be Elita's second in command? Shockwave's second in command? Elita's medic? Which Cons and Bots would you pick for both teams? What interactions would you choose between the Bots and Cons? How would you make those interactions similar to and different than those in "Transformers Prime"? What personality should Elita One have? Should she be like she was in G1? Or should she be different? Should she be like Optimus or different? How would you portray this new Elita One?

I would like to see Jazz on her team simply because he's one of my favorite TF characters and never got any real justice in the movies. I thought the best portrayal of him was in Animated and would like to see something similar. Maybe he could be Elita One's communication officer? Problem is, if he's out in space and never visited Earth yet, how would he have the personality and music tastes that he's so well known for? I'm wondering if something like Animated's Red Alert would be an interesting choice for a medic on Elita's team. Only thing is, Animated's Red Alert was too much like Ratchet in personality. I don't know if they should change her personality somewhat. Maybe there can be animosity and some conflict between her and Elita to some extent to contrast with Ratchet and Prime's more friendly interactions. I don't know. I'm wondering if Grimlock would make an interesting second in command. Not stupid cartoon Grimlock. But Simon Furman's Grimlock with a touch of dinobot's personality minus the dinosaur mode. Maybe have conflict between him and Elita just as there was between Dinobot and Primal. Make him sort of an anti-hero. Maybe he was a former Con but only defected because they betrayed him and did horrific experiments on him. Maybe that could explain why he speaks the way he does. He's not really fighting on the Autobot's side because he necessarily believes in or supports their cause. Rather he fights on their side because of his intense hatred of the Decepticons for what they did to him. Maybe have Strika be Shockwave's feared second in command and a foil to the more feminime and graceful Elita One? Just some ideas.

I would just love to have a Transformers series for once where a kick-ass female Autobot led instead of the standard male norm.

I honestly don't see that ever happening...The spin-off series part. The bit about Elita-1 leadeing her own team was actually an idea I kind of suggested in another thread sometime back.(I think the topic was new characters, or something like that.) I would love to see it as an episode for TFP.

Elita-1 I would see as being, in personality, like Captain Janeway from StarTrek Voyager. Maybe even get Kate Mulgrew to voice her.

For her team, I'd have Prowl as second in command. A very strict, by the books, type of bot.
First Aid, a young filed medic. He's anything from inexperienced when being a medic, but he's still a little green when it comes to combat.
Weapons expert Hotshot. A skilled soldier, but a little too headstrong for his own good.
Scout Moonracer. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in sniping skills. Also, for a sniper, she's actually the most charismatic of the group.

Also, just to shake things up, Elita actually still has an Autobot ship in her cammand, along with a small army of Autotroopers. Basically like how Screamer has the Eraticon/Vehicons.

I wouldn't want a spin off series yet, but it would make for a great story arc if another team turned up at some point. Elita-1 is as great a leader as anyone, and the development she could bring to Optimus would be great.

Oh jeeze, it just happens that Im designing a TFP Elita atm.

(I was thinking about making her a speedboat, but I might make a thread on what alt. mode she would have.)

Any suggestions on what she should look like anyone?

Not sure about the spin off thing, but I would be pretty epic for Elita to lead her own team in the series. I actually thought of something similar until I discarded the idea. Its a very interesting concept.

I was think part of Elita's team could be scattered around the US. (Jazz could be in California lol) and the rest with her up in space. (probably the moon or something of the nature.)

This could help greatly with Optimus' character development, helping us learn a bit more about what's behind that 'emotional wall' of his. It would really give the show a good edge to it, expanding the atmosphere a bit.

As for Elita's personality, she could be like Optimus in a few ways, but have a few flaws just like every leader has, but not hide it like Prime does. After all this time, she may still have a soft spot for him.

Elita might treat him not as a former lover but as another commander, thinking that Optimus has lost feelings for her after so long.

Well Hasbro recently registered "Transformers One" for entertainment purposes. And "Transformers One" sounds a lot like "Transformers Prime". And "Transformers Prime" is named after Optimus Prime. As far as I know there are only two Transformers with the word, "one", in their names: Leader One and Elita One. So when I read about that registration, I started wondering if it's the name of a second Transformers spinoff series that could be in the same universe and take place at the same time as "Transformers Prime". And could "Transformers One" be to Elita One what "Transformers Prime" is to Optimus Prime? Maybe Elita One is a female prime but the females are called "ones" instead of "primes"? Who knows. TF One could be anything, but it's got me wondering. Is the "Transformers Prime" story so large and epic that it cannot be told with just one series? Could Hasbro be planning on having two Transformers series: "Transformers One" and "Transformers Prime"? If "Transformers One" is the name of the other Transformers series, could Hasbro be working on it already and would season one of that series premier at around the same time as season two of "Transformers Prime"? I would love it if there was a "Transformers Prime" series with leader, Optimus Prime, and a "Transformers One" series with Elita One in charge.

As for captain Janeway, I was actually thinking of her as some sort of a model for Elita One as well. I like Prowl being second in command. I think I prefer Ironhide over Hotshot for the weapons expert. I like the idea of a young field medic on her team. I'm thinking either First Aid or maybe a young female medic, Red Alert. A Red Alert who is different from her Animated version. And I was also thinking of having Moonracer on her team. She could be the kid of the group sort like Bumble Bee is on Prime's team. She could be the scout and sniper, only a lot crazier and more headstrong than Bee. Somebody to give Elita One headaches and worries. Somebody for Elita One to reprimand alot.

Let's just keep supporting TFPrime for now.. I think they will add all the characters we would like before the end of the series, just be patient. If you want other teams-NOW!..write a FanFiction.

That seems like a stretch. If I were to venture a guess at what "Transformers One" is, I'd assume maybe some kind of advertising catchphrase.

I just don't see it realistically happening. TF: Prime already has limitations for being a CGI show. If they had the money to start a whole new show, it'd make more sense financially just to put that money into the already existing series.

Hrmm, so, if we're going to go for a team dynamic here....

Elita-One - She'd be a cross between Prime and Arcee. Similar build to Arcee, but bigger, probably a sleek race car. She'd have a strong fighting personality like Arcee but with the compassion and care that Prime has.

Red Alert - A young but diligent new recruit, trained in repairs under Ratchet years ago, and was recruited personally by Elita. Based more upon the Unicron Trilogy character, retaining the medi-tool/gun arm, but with a more younger personality.

Springer - The warrior of the group. A solid, caring character but also the strongest on the team, armed heavily - enough to go one-on-one, firepower wise to the likes of Starscream, but would lack the speed.

Sideswipe & Sunstreaker - Brothers who completed Autoboot-camp with high honours. Always competing with each other, trying to outdo one another, skilled warriors but closest of allies. Think of more mature versions of the Animated twins.

Trailbreaker - Veteran of the crew, is a defence specialist who feels he's too old to be on the front lines, and is more suited to protecting his comrades and any other innocent life that the Decepticons attempt to seize and destroy.

I actually feel Jazz would be a great leader, with the full team being (this is actually an idea I've had for nearly half a year, now):

Jazz - Leader and 2nd in Command of the Autobots, head of special operations. He also has his "Sound & Light Show" attack. (Combo of G1 and Animated, without the Cyberninja crap)

Brawn - 2nd in Command of Jazz's team. Crusty old bot, short and stout, really REALLY strong, has plenty of experience and old war stories to share. He's a hell of a brawler, uses guns first as they're weaker than his fists. Close friend to Jazz, who looks up to Brawn for advise (like common relationships of Optimus and Ironhide), he's the "wise old bot" to the rest of the crew, giving advice and playing enforcer. (Animated Ratchet, Bayverse Jetfire and nearly all versions of Kup rolled into one)

First Aid - Nicknamed "Faye", the medic of the group, wants to help and preserve life, but is filled with anger, hatred and frustration for those who seek to destroy it, as well as for himself for losing lives under his care. He keeps these emotions bottled in to stay strong for patients and the rest of the crew, tries to laugh alot, but his demons haunt him when he's alone in thought. May, or may not, eventually help form the "Protectobots" with the other original members. (Modeled off Wade from "Saving Private Ryan")

Glyph - She's the mechanic and tech geek, even though she's a behind the scenes gal, she can burst into a furious rage and fight like a berserker. Overall she's very sweet, smart and caring. (Mainly modeled off of Kaylee from "Firefly")

Roadbuster - Heavy gunner, gritty, brutal and doesn't give a goddamn, loves to fight and kill 'cons. He used to be a Decepticon, until he was betrayed by his old friend and gladiator partner (thinking Mudslinger). Mudslinger had revealed info and sold out Roadbuster's brother (Thresh, either a neutral or Autobot), Mudslinger killed Thresh, and tried to kill Roadbuster. May, or may not, eventually join the "Wreckers". (Modeled off Animal Mother from "Full Metal Jacket", as well as Blain from "Predator")

Skydive - Bookworm, flier, scout, he's smart and a damn good fighter, he just wishes he didn't have to. He'd rather read, learn and help than engage in combat. Also may, or may not, eventually form his group (the Aerialbots) with the other original members. (Sort of a geeky Bumblebee)

I agree. "Transformers One" could be anything, but it does sound suspiciously like "Transformers Prime" which begs the question. Time will tell. I like alot of the character ideas for a possible second Elita One led Transformers series that, in my opinion, could have huge potential just like "Transformers Prime" does. If "Transformers One" is what I suggested, I think Shockwave will most likely be the big bad of this series. After all, he's the only Con who can really match Megatron in terms of size, power, and ambition. Which means we probabely will not hear about it until close to or shortly after the third Transformers movie. Hasbro will want to use the movie to advertise Shockwave to the mainstream audience to build up the character's popularity before advertising a series that will feature him.

    Anyways My Team would be.....

Jazz (Leader, calm collective, Jazz is Optimu's protege voiced by Phil LaMarr again)
Red Alert (Medic, cold, stern, patient and polite, doesn't deal with illogical things, based on Egon from Ghostbusters, voiced by Maurice LaMarche)
Hotshot (A hot blooded daredevil, isn't afraid of anything and also not as arrogant as one would think, voiced by Robin Atkin Downes)
Depthcharge (A assertive, gung ho badass bad cop, speedboat simmilar to the BW version, voiced by David Sobolov)
Override (A female racing legend, sniper, quirky and yet ruthless in battle, has thing for Hotshot, voiced by Michelle Ruff)
Powerglide (Rude, sarcastic, arrogant and usually at odds with just about every on his team, Voiced by Jerry O'Connell)

Ok, we've talked about the Bots. What about the Cons? I think Shockwave has to be the big bad. But what other Cons would you want on Shockwave's team?

    Shockwave's team:

Jetstorm. Same personality as the BM character, and serves as SW's Decepticon squadron leader.

Stalker. Ground leader and communications officer. Also an expert in guerrilla warfare. Takes just a little too much pleasure in crushing the life out of a living spark.

Scalpel would be SW's medical officer, but more often then not he spends most of his time on crude experiments. Sometimes on his patients.

Abominus. A horrible failure in Scalpel's attempt at combiner technology.
Abominus can only speak in combined-mode, and even then it's a primitive dialect. When separated, each bot are little more then feral beasts, and only respond in grunts and growls. But when in their individual modes they’re much faster and more agile.

Shockwave- (Based on Marvel Shockwave, Loyal to Megatron when deemed logical, converts into a purple assault boat, Voiced by Corey Burton)

Flatline- (Decepticon medic, cold hearted and just plain evil, Pretty much Ratchet's worst enemy and former friend, voiced by Ron Perlman)

Bonecrusher- (A pissed off ball of hatred, despises just about Everything and takes his fustration out on Autobots, voiced by Rick D.Wasserman)

Axor (Decepticon who trained under Lockdown many years ago, voiced by Nolan North)

Flamewar (Arcee's Decepticon sister, she's cruel, mean, manipulative and a totally loyal to Megatronm voiced by Gwendolyne Yeo)

Shockwave - No real need for description.

Flatline - Renound doctor on Cybertron, takes care that his work is done, but none for his patients' comfortabilities. Well spoken, professional, psychologically intact, not a "mad scientist", was actually a former member of those in the higher classes, before the war, that helped fund the Decepticon 'cause, alongside former Senator Ratbat. While caring for the health of his teammates, he's still a bit of a sadist. Think Ratchet, but when he welds a few stitches together, he DOESN'T give a little EMP burst to the area.

Lugnut - Like Shockwave, in that there's no real need to describe 'em. He's mostly the same as Animated, just a LOT more violent.

Vortex - Interrogator, big guy, damn good fighter, a little screwy in the head, but knows what kind of torture will do the job to get the information out of anyone (and it's not always physical). Despite his own psyche being a bit kaput, he is a master at psychological warfare, and intelligence gathering. He doesn't usually take stances on preferences concerning the cultures of the societies that the Decepticons take over, but he really enjoys the humans' discoveries of intelligence gathering via "microexpressions". Has a Eastern European accent. May or may not eventually join the "Combaticons".

Wildrider - Expert terrorist, he knows how to spread chaos in JUST the right way. Whether it's destroying a bridge, a hospital, a fire hydrant, or even building a fake stop sign, he knows how to herd civilians into panic. His small size, compared to other 'Cons (but about as big as an average Autobot), allows him to slip away in cities undetected. Wildrider is also an expert on urban warfare, knowing how to neutralize (or deactive) enemies using alleyways, booby traps on buildings, or fake being a parked car to back-stab you. May or may not eventually join the "Stunticons".

No one else had any other ideas for Decepticons? I think this thread could really get interesting.
