Would anyone want an Autobot repaint of a Prime Vehicon?

    Either as a stand alone character or a part of identical drones.

    Repainting the mold into Autobot colors would be interesting.

    Maybe, but the spindly arms/claws and hunched over appearance do give the mold a decidedly sinister appearance. Not too heroic, really. If they did repurpose the mold and gave us a Bot repaint, not sure who they could pull off using it.

    Drift, maybe. But I like Lumpy's idea a lot better since they could realistically work as convention exclusives.

    I do expect the club to do a prime set one year with the jet vehicon, normal vehicon and Breakdown.

    As for repaints, I think they'd only really work as cons, Autotroopers were kind of creepy. so that might work, but i struggle to think of bots that would suit the mould.

    Looking back, the BB mold would've made good fodder for a Prime Autorooper. I think they blew it on Hot Shot and the gray BB repaint. With a new head and weapon, I think it could've done well. Not saying that it wouldn't eventually shelfwarm, but I'm sure people would buy enough of them to troop build.

    white autotroopers for sure, make them plentiful, then they can be bought en masse and painted black or any other color easier! dooooo it!!

    maybe there's some way it could work. if the entire back has to be remolded, it'd work.

    hahaha...

    i now kinda want to troop build Hot Shot, or at least have two of them, and make them a squad... dammit...
