I've been thinking about how a lot of people have been making Beast Wars Animated figures and I was wondering if a Beast Wars Animated or Beast Machines would do well. What would you think if Hasbro produced one?

I'd totally dig a mish-mosh of my two favorite TF series, those being Animated and Beast Machines.

Yeah, I thought maybe this might happen because I was being hopeful and I don't want Animated to end. I would really want the figures from this line if they actually made them.

Ya know what would be interesting...if the Animated cast and the BW/BM cast switched universes. Like a straight to DVD movie where, thanks to a Transwarp wave, the Animated Autobots end up in CGI and on G1 prehistoric earth while some of the Maximals end up in Detroit. And shenanigans would ensue.

David Kaye versus David Kaye. Yessssss.

    Well

I think my choice is option C

I disagree but will watch it because I'm a fan ^^

Beast Wars is one of my favorite Transformers series, and one of the many elements that made it my favorite was it being made in 3D. If it comes in 2D animation I doubt I'd enjoy it the way I enjoyed the original BW, and will definitely be interested.

Personally, I think it was the 3D images that made the beasts(modes) great looks for Beast Wars, if it turns into 2D animation, it'd lose that attraction.

    VICTORY!

Though like if they made an Animated Beast Wars where the decendants of the Autobots go back in time and have to fight the decendants of the Decepticons...

Would be interesting... And the decendants of the Decepticons stumble upon Black Arachnia and Waspinator, who actually ended up being thrown back in time...THAT would be awesome.

Though they don't go back 4 million years, they go back 40 years and have to defend Optimus' crew and the AllSpark while they are in stasis. And the Beast Wars happen in the Detroit Zoo at night... hmmmmm.

    I might watch that. Depends.

As a one off then yes I would watch it. The beauty of TFA is the nods to all TF franchises not just one.

    big fat NO.

The way they've been handling it lately is fine. They've kept a good balance between G1 and everything else. I don't have any problem with them devoting the occasional multi-part storyline or even a dvd movie to Beast Wars characters. Anything beyond that would be a mistake.

I love Beast Wars, I think it's the best of all Transformers media released so far, and I'd love to see more Beast Wars characters used in the new cartoon. :)  I've voted yes, though I don't think Beast Wars needs a brand new cartoon. I just think that the characters should be used more often; I'd love to see a new version of Rattrap! :D

I'd watch it in a heartbeat!

Actually, this topic reminds me of the Botcon script reading a while back where BB and Prime go into the transwarp universe and meet up with Megatron. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

No, and this is from a Beast Wars fan.

Beast Wars is just an offshot of the Transformers mythos, that's why it's called Transformers: Beast Wars. I do not want them doing Transformers: Animated: Beast Wars, anymore than I want Transformers: Animated: Bay Movie or Transformers: Animated: RiD. Let Animated be what it is, don't try to force it to be whatever series you personally liked best.
