If it's supposed to be the same character as in the cartoon, definitely.

It would be nice, but then, it probably wouldn't be FREE either...

Dion had a moderate role in one episode, if we're going by the cartoon. That and his face in the show look fruitier than Orion Pax, so I'm not loosing any sleep over him not having the same head. And as it's already been said, he's a FREEBIE.

I do agree that this is in the wrong forum, however.

Dion needs to be a different mold entirely.

Go with a new head mold whenever economically feasible. Else try the Hot Shot head without the visor.

I don't think he needs a new headsculpt. Sure, it'd be nice, but if you're going to change anything about that mold fix the awkward back kibble!

Repainted Animated Sentinel Prime would've been better for this character imo, actually same paint little more orange.

I don't think there's any need to replace the head. Considering the other freebie figures (four scouts class figures and one deluxe), I think this is still a step up despite what people may feel about the mold.

If I could pick a different head from an existing toy, I'd go with Universe Ironhide:

I think this needs to be quoted for emphasis. The character models for many of the hi and die characters, comic or cartoon, Junkion, Sharkticon or Lithonion, were cruddy at best. I'm happy with Dion, but I'd have been even happier to see the mold repainted as Gears.

Here's hoping to see him as case filler once Universe returns.

I was kind of put off about his lack of head re-sculpt, but I'll get over it. I think the figure looks great, the color scheme is nice on this guy.

    End of Line

Not really, sorry. He's a minor character, a freebie figure, and from the sounds of it the TFCC is sort of re-inventing his character anyway. The Hot Shot head is fine for him in my opinion. It's not like it's really THAT different. They both have human faces with no faceplate or eye-visor (not counting Hot Shot's hinged one).

    Besides, it's only Dion. :)

It would have been a nice little touch, but then I have to agree compared to the other free figures of late it's a step forward.
