well do you? I think yes
No, it would not. It would be the best thing since peanut butter and jam socks.
it could be like the old classic Snake Eyes issue of G.I Joe.
I'd love a Soundwave episode!
Only if such and episode featured Soundwave and Bumblebee only. 22-minutes of voiceless beauty. It could be the Transformers' version of a Silent story, similar to Sneakeyes and Stormshadow's and G.I. Joes...just not as exciting...
IT WOULD BE AWESOME. Maybe Soundwave tracking and trouncing Starscream and Mech Then At the end he would speak in line/s of badasserry then walk away. Just an entire ep of build up and an awesome pay off with a cherry on top.
a soundwave spotlight type episode would be awesome. it could be set in the past and it would have soundwave talking, but only for this episode. it could be soundwave's explainer as to why he doesnt talk in the present. set the episode around the time when he first meets megatron or just prior ot him meeting megatron.
According to the writers, they say he can talk but chooses not to.
No, a spin-off show would be good.
i'm aware of that fact, but my episode idea could be where he takes his vow of silence or it could explain his reason for not speaking.
Well the Artist won best picture so it seems we are open to silent films. Seeing as that is the case, yes a Soundwave based episode would work just fine. Have him find more minions in it.
As funny as it would be to see, I don't think it would be good. Now if there were an episode that went into Soundwave's past, I wouldn't mind that.
It would be a masterwork.
I think Soundwave should have his own Transformers show. No dialogue what-so-ever ... just him standing there in bad ass poses.
A Soundwave centered episode with Bumblebee as his "PITA foe" would be a production writer's dream.
This This and This.
Anyways yeah I would love a completly silent episode
It depends. If it was well written, had lots of Soundwave and interesting sequences, then yes, it would be good. But if it was horribly written, had poor pacing and featured very little of Soundwave, then no, it wouldn't be good. Being a "Soundwave based episode" alone does not automatically make a good criterion for a good episode. It all hinges on how the episode is executed.
Now, with that said, I would be all for a Soundwave based episode. I love TFP Soundwave and want to see more of him.
A well-written episode from Soundwave's point of view would be a good idea. Even then, though, I would prefer he not talk or have some internal monologue - he's gone 29 episodes already without a word. But having his perspective be the main focus and letting folks like Megatron and Optimus sort of take the back seat in the episode's story would be interesting.
I would be all for a Soundwave episode. So far the character is little more than a prop to me so I desperately want to see him expanded.
It would need to be well written and well shot. There could be dialogue as long as none of it comes from Soundwave. Although I like the idea of a completely silent episode. I doubt kids would have the attention span. It would probably work best as a comic.
I do not want to know why Soundwave doesn't speak. I don't want that explained in the canon. Ever.
