was spring cleaning this morning and came across a notebook that had a few scripts i wrote. they were scripts me and my pals didn't get to make while up in Tuscaloosa. in all, there are 4. 2 were really short- maybe 5-15 minutes, tops. (one was a proposed music video.) 1 was aiming for about 45min. to an hour. (my "vision"!) and the last was a concept i had to do a two hour movie- but was never practical. (it involved boats, and i can't swim. lol.) anyway, i have the notebook sitting on my bed and am thinking that i really want them made. well, at least the "vision" one. so the only way i know that i can do it is probably by starting an amateur movie making club. nothing formal, just meet, plan out the shooting schedule and doing it. so do you think a club like that would work? i know enough of the writing process to help others create a story and script. i can't story board, but am sure able to visualize. can get people involved with editing or other elements that appeals to them. i wanted to throw it out here just to see if it wasn't too silly an idea. Lastly, i do have some incentive for this to work. i have connections at TU-Dothan, and with the management at the theaters in Enterprise so that i am able to get access to a theater for a screening party for those that made it and their friends. so, is it feasible? any suggestions would rock. thanks.
