Even though Beast Wars is my favorite TF show I can't see it working out well with the public nor the fans...

"Any movie will be automatically good as long as Bay isn't in the director's chair. It's not like having competent writers, a well-thought out script, likeable characters, great production value and hundreds of other aspects factor in to the quality of a film. All you need is the movie to be sans-Bay and it will be a sure-fire Oscar winner." - Filmmaking for Dummies , page 32, paragraph 4

It really depends on - as I said - hundreds of factors. It could be good. And it might suck. We'll never know until it happens.

A live action movie? Nah. Maybe a direct-to-video? Maybe.

I mean, Marvel and DC have all sorts of direct-to-video films. I don't see why Hasbro couldn't try to do the same.

And while they're at, I think some D-T-V animated movies based on IDW comics and Bayformers prequels/spin-offs would be nice. :D  DC animated films kick butt, and I'd love to see the same methods applied to a NEST/Ironhide/Sideswipe spin-off and even a Beast Wars prequel.

I'd say yes, but if they did it live action it would have to be Jurassic Park meets Madagascar (so the Preds have access to dinosaur alt-modes and the Maximals have access to their respective alt modes)...

It would be cool, but I just can't see it being anything other than ridiculous in the hands of Hollywood.

I'm not sure it would be a good idea because even with an insanely talented director teamed up with one of Hollywood's best writers there are concepts that would be hard to nail in a two hour movie.

If Hasbro wanted to go back and re-animate the original series to bring the CGI up to modern standards that might be cool. But I'm not too crazy about anyone messing with what I loved about Beast Wars. I still hold a grudge about how Beast Machines messed with the perfect ending of Beast Wars when Waspinator was left as king of the early humans.

No need giving facts to most people already know of. Tell me something I don't know.

The only way I see that working is if Hasbro would be already to make a big push for the franchise.

They do an opening movie that re-introduces the Beasts into the atmosphere, have a show that'll provide as the main run (like the Clone Wars).

They'd use the Beast characters for snippets during the commercial breaks for the shows to educate the audience with some quick factoids on the various animals. (Hey kids, did you know that Elephants are the largest land animals? / Hey kids, did you know the Pterodactyl is not a true "dinosaur"?) Kind of stuff.

They'd need to work with zoos, or their hookup with Discovery to really push this, and possibly environmentalist/conservationalist messages (since that's one of the hip things these last few generations).

Maybe not as a huge live action movie in theatres, but it would be cool to see Beast Wars in updated, modern computer-generated graphics and animations like TFP.

No one (Except hardcore Beast Wars fans) would take a beast wars movie seriously.
    There's no argument.

Nah, the ended it on a high with Beast Machines so I'd rather they left it at that.
