Depends on your tastes. If you want some extremely 'toon accurate figurines of your favourite characters, then you're not going to get much better than that. Just let it be known that they don't really do anything except stand there, so don't expect to get much out of them beyond that, or staging massive wars with miniatures or something.

I like them. I wish I had more of them. I don't even have an Optimus.

Though as Archon said, they're 3 inch tall PVC figurines. The $10 to $15 that they go for on Ebay may be a bit much to some.

If you want a PVC figure, I say go for a Mega-SCF.

If you like them, then they're definitely worth buying. I have the SCF Clear BB and HOC BB coming in from the U.S. soon. :)

They are okay but definitely not worth the price some of them go for.

I had all of them at one point.
Then I realized that they have ZERO play value.
I sold them all off about three years ago.
I wouldn't waste my money on them again.

They're nice display pieces. I keep mine on the card because they're not really worth opening and actually look pretty snazzy MOC. And yeah, they can get pretty expensive. Especially the last two waves which didn't see much distribution. Which is saying a lot since the line as a whole only showed up in a handful of stores.

I honestly wouldn't buy any. They're neat and look cool, but they don't do anything. I love Star Wars figures but I never take them out of the box, what am I gonna do with it besides look at it? Transformers are actually fun to play with. These just have no playability.

I just bought the Battle vs. The Fallen set on clearance at Walmart for $6. These are my first RH's and I really like them. They don't do a thing, but they're tiny and cool looking (some are).

I have The Fallen and Super Prime on my workbench out in the shed.

Really? You wanted play-value from carded PVC goshapon figurines? That's the lamest argument against HoC possible. They aren't toys. They're meant to be little display collectibles.

and realistically, how much 'play' does anybody over 10 or 11 get out of their TFs? i pick them up and transform/pose/look at them occasionally, but it's not like i'm crawling around the floor going PWE! PEW PEW! (much)

Never got into HoC i'm a big fan of the Robot Heros line, the funky semi-super-deformed designs poke at my intense love of all things TFA and they don't take up much space. win!

What's the exchange rate now? P40:$1?

$7 is a bit much to pay for those, but I guess they are almost 10 years old.

Wow, you really really really fail at sarcasm. Either that or you super-fail at trying to cover up when someone calls you on your B.S.

In any case, regarding the toys, they're worth it if you like them. If not, there's plenty of other merchandise. Of this line, I have Ratchet, Devastator and Starscream (with crown.) Kept them carded, and yeah, I think they're decently cool.

I love mine. Most of these are the Japanese SCF's but I missed the first set of those so I went with the HoC's to fill in the gaps.

I recently bought a couple of lots on the internet and I like them on my wall. I wouldn't pay more than $10 each for the more common ones shipped, but that's in a lot so you have to be prepared for doubles (and triples). They'll be trade-fodder though.
