I know. People have their right to they're own opinion. But have you encountered a review of one of the TF movies that are just terribly written or
viewed? I'm talking about reviews that just ignore some aspects of the movie like they barely paid attention, ranting about one topic of the movie
and finishing their review without talking about another subject, or is just rude and immature. Post your worst (In your own opinion), it can be for any of the TF movies (even the animated one)
and can be a text or a video review.

    For me it's this:

As Bad As It Gets – A Review Of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon «

His anti-patriot rant just leaves me stumped.
And his rant comparing the movie to 9/11 is just bordering from hate for the movie to complete and utter HATRED of the franchise.

Oh and he edited my comment on his amateur blog. That's just low, even for a critic.
And E-mailing me calling me a "fanboy" for pointing out a few simple flaws in his review? He just earned a place on my list.

Oh, I remember the HopeLies fiasco. But for me, it's the one where the author struggled and stretched to make every single racist, pro-war, and pro-America connection he could come up with. That one was truly horrible.

Unfortunately, I don't expect this thread to last long.

I don't think that was a real review, more of just a rant.
A stupid, putrid, biased, bullshit of rant.

Why does it seem to me every character critics review in the Transformers series apparently NEEDS to be a stereotype.

? Is this an actual scene? because i'm very confident this didn't happen.

What's wrong with wheelie riding on the dog? At least his not humping him.
Of course Autobots can't leave you idiot and if they did then Earth and the humans are powerless against the decepticons. And no not even a railgun will save them.
    hahaha.

QUOTE:"Bay is notorious for his inability to realistically portray anyone who isn’t a white American male, but he’s reached new lows here."

    So Epps is white now?

QUOTE: "overlong mess with no sense of danger."

There was no danger in this movie? Where the hell was he?

QUOTE" At one point in the film, Bay evokes the image of the “falling man”, one of the key visual images of the events of 9/11, as a gang of US Army ‘grunts’ skydive across a semi-post-apocalyptic skyline. Crass doesn’t even begin to cover it, with the sequence unforgivable insensitive and a new low for Bay. It’s exploitative nonsense of the highest order, and not at all hyperbolic to suggest that it reaches a level of vile thus far unequalled in the 21st century mainstream cinema."

That's the biggest stretch EVER in a review I have heard. And that includes the one claiming DOTM in nothing but a racist movie that's in another thread. found here:

I think this review is just as bad as the alternet one, but maybe a little better since he's not as bitter (only slightly) as the other author.

It is important to question whether the writer actually saw the movie first before he or she wrote the article.

Wow dude, congratulations, he even mentioned you by name in his follow-up article...

Also, you'd think a guy who watches movies for a living would realize that the Inception score he linked a video to was not written by Hans Zimmer nor featured in anything but the trailer. Especially since, you know, he linked the article to a youtube video that specifically says "Mind Heist by Zack Hemsey from the Inception trailer".

Now I'm not claiming that DotM was the best movie ever made, but it certainly was entertaining, and much, much better than RotF.

Oh, and I think the comparison to 9/11 was a bit of a stretch...As someone who was particularly affected by that day, I made absolutely no comparison to it and the scene he was referring to. I mean, did I miss something on 9/11 where people from the buildings were wearing wing suits and landing in Battery Park while being pursued by evil robots? What newscast was he watching? Fox News?

You like the movie, fine. You don't like some of the reviews, fine. (You used generically here.)

But death threats? Vulgarity? Childish rants and tantrums?

Please, if that's how you're going to respond to anyone who dare criticize or "find fault" with anything Transformers related, do the franchise a favor and keep your hands away from the keyboard.

It is possible to "fire back" and be mature about it. In fact, doing it that way makes anything you say far more effective and meaningful.

But the moronic stuff is what I've seen most of the time. And it gives "the community" a bad name and image.

The reviewer's opinion shouldn't matter. It's your choice to like the movie or not. If he belittles you or insults you for liking it, then he's being stupid and biased.

Is Their a reviewer who hates the movies because it's poorly written and not based on the rasicism card?

When did I ever make a childish rant? You obviously just saw the thread title and posted thinking it would be "CRITIC R DUMB DURRR I LIEK SPOLSIONS".
