The fandom. Dear God, the fandom has more mood swings than a pregnant woman.

 

I love the fandom, even the whiners and the whiners who whine about the whiners.

Here's my first ever complaint or whine about Transformers, I hate the shortpacking of desirable toys.

In the mist of me being crucified for saying the word "shrek" I totally forgot about the funpub drama that pushed many fans to drinking.

The prices for their exclusives are a rip off and their communication skills would piss even Soundwave off.

Good thing Next year will have a great amount of God-formers to choose from. This way I wont be tempted to make deals with the devil again.

Still trying to figure out where the connection between Shrek and Transformers is at...also the Godformers one is throwing me off too.

 

You can’t jump into every thread about Prime, and even some that are not about Prime and impart your ‘Shrekformers is stupid’ noise and then claim you are being ‘crucified’.
I’ve watched you make a concerted effort for months to get the fandom to start using the term ‘Shrekformers’.
True martyrs crave not such attention.

I would say the fandom, but there are worse ones out there (sonic the hedgehog, Nintendo fanboys have gone rather rabid, bronies, etc...)

I would say the worst part for me personally was the Aligned Continuity flop. I was rather excited when I heard that the books, video games, and new television show would all tie together into one cohesive continuity. It had a ton of potential, but was totally botched. People still try to sell it as being related even though it's impossible. Bugs the crap out of me, but it's a personal problem.

Although specifically I will say that Exodus is easily the worst single thing ever. Full of plot holes, extremely poorly written, would be a crime to even call it a rough draft. It was my first Transformers novel, it will be my last.

 

I believe they are Chinformers and Gearsformers? Basically take an aspect of the specific series, jump to an illogical conclusion, then add formers to it. That seems to be the basis of YoungPrimes "wit".

Prime has CGI animation, so does Shrek. Therefore Shrekformers. Yes it's dumb.

I'm gonna add all the negativity and seriousness people have about Transformers. Okay, we get it. It's a war story. It's also about the ridiculous concept of giant space robots turning into vehicles for the purpose of selling toys. Get over yourselves, and let me stop being serious about your seriousness because it's almost as bad. Complaining about complaining is still complaining.

That's also one. I don't care if someone's being a dipstick on the Prime forum, or "white-knights" FunPub. It's not your job to call them out on it. A fire only survives with fuel. When erudite people like us, who have shown the ability to speak civilly about a schoolyard hobby, choose not to protest the use of the word "Shrek-formers," or don't comment on another thread commending Polygon for giving Arcee a fine ass, those threads die.

Please, the next time you see someone act dumb, don't give in to the urge to call them dumb. I've succumbed to the urge too many times, and I'm admitting it—can you?
