One of my last polls for a while. Anyway which movie Decepticon do you think had the worst death? I mean like full on made you hurt yourself. Also feel free to point out any characters I missed. Please vote and share your opinion Thank you. Update: For those who dont understand the the term worst death, I mean as if which con had the most painful death.
Me I think The Fallen. He was getting sliced and diced by Prime. Crankcase's was bad to. I also think Shockwave's was bad too.
dude i'm really surprised i chose who i did, because i've hated this guy since movie 1, Megatron ... of all 'cons.
Megatron. First he got killed by an insect then got killed by Optimus without a fight. Although, no Con got a good death. So that, plus no depth and only decent plots, is why I don't like any of the movies except the first because, among other reasons, while the Cons had pretty bad deaths, they put up one hell of a fight.
I said Starscream. I was kind of upset we was killed by a bomb to the head, mostly because it was put there by Sam. I would've prefered it had the Wreckers and/or Mirage had taken him out of the fight.
Let's see: Swipe attacks him, Ironhide shoots at him and then puts a mace in his face. And you call this the worst death in the trilogy?
Devastator. He's a massive fucking gestalt and was hyped immensely, and yet he gets killed by a fucking rail gun. Biggest. Waste. Of. Screen.Time. Ever.
I don't know if I'd have such a problem with Devestator's demise* if he'd actually had more constructive (no pun intended, initially) screentime up to that point. *and really, nothing really points to the individual bots deaths in ROTF, but they're certainly out of commission for the remainder of the film.
Grindor's death was both awesome and terrifying: It was a mind-splitting experience to watch, and and my attention was definitely hooked onto that scene.
Devastator got shot in the chest and died. Well, it looked like it just broke the connection between the cons and killed Scavenger... the others were probably damaged and knocked out but they may have gone into hiding as we don't see them after that... You kind of see his left arm and chest get completely annihilated but it looks like the rest of him splits up and collapse... not to mention they're all partially bonded so they all still have bits of each other stuck inside of them. But if Megatron can give himself a new arm, why can't they make a new constructicon?
Worst Kill Personally I think Megatron's death was worst. It was like he wanted to join with Optimus and then after the battle Optimus killed him to. I thought it was actually kind of funny watching Megatron die when he wasn't expecting it.
Honestly, this is a hard poll because there a few choices for me: -The Fallen was hyped to be this major villain and was destroyed in seconds by Prime. That was lame. -I hate the way Bay finally brought Barricade back in DOTM and didn't make it count. Barricade was one of the more distinctive 'Cons from the first movie and could have been used to better effect. That disappointed me. -Starscream's "My eye! My eye!" was a bit much, went on too long and seemed rather silly, though the sequence with Sam and Lennox and was entertaining. -Shockwave being taken down by a few soldiers and then Optimus Prime (who gets to take down too many of the bad guys in the series) ends him too quickly. -Prime killing Megatron so quickly in DOTM. Anti-climatic scene between the main rivalry characters. I'm not one who had a problem with how Sam managed to take down Megatron in the first movie because it was after a major battle between Megatron and Prime, and Sam didn't need to do anything beyond shoving the Allspark into his chest. But for the "supposed" final movie, the "Let's find out!" scene was too short and a big down. Devastator, like the driller, didn't register for me as anything but a huge waste of CGI and money for said CGI - I didn't really notice how he went out so much.
Touch choice when there were so many lame deaths. I think I have to give my vote to Blackout because he seems to have started the trend of lame deaths.
