The WST recently caught my eye, and I was wondering what you guys thought of them. I am thinking they would look pretty nice next to my Crazy Devastator. Not sure which to get yet, but the dinobots definitely caught my eye.

So what are your impressions of these figures?

I have Starscream - I think he's extremely cool. It's basically the same as the larger G1 figure, only it doesn't have the long missiles. Transforms exactly the same. I'd probably pick up a few more, but they are apparently highly "collectible" :D

I picked up Megatron and Snarl from a comic shop, both loose, and I like them for what they are. The dinobots really seem to be the nicest imo.

They are very nice. Resold way over priced but very accurate and cool for mini displays.

I just got WST Hot Rod this week. It's wonderful! Especially comparing his size to MP-09.

I've got the comic dinos, Shockwave, Soundwave and Blaster, and they are all pretty cool, just gotta be careful with them, definitely fragile. But I like them for what they are, and they are going to make for some cool photo shots when I get my displays up :D

I have almost every WST released from takara, heero and justitoys

    I LOVE them

Even better when you add the reprolabels sets.

They can get a wee bit pricey, but I like them enough to justify it.

^ agreed. From what I understood, they sold pretty well in Japan and I know they sold extremely well in the secondary market.

They are neat display pieces. I first got them since I felt like I could collect some of my G1 faves for a fair price and not take much shelf space. I still think they are neat, but they did not feel the gap so I ended up with some G1 stuff.

i have a couple Optimus Primes (one with, one without a trailer) and 3 seeker molds.
i put them with my Metroplex and they seem to fit in more than the Protectobots (size wise.)

i love them, they just keep getting knocked down on my priority list because of other things.

The only one I have is Prime w/trailer, but I'd like to get more. Since G1 was so simple, they translate really well into these tiny things. Not much is lost. When some of these guys post pictures of their large collection together, I almost can't tell they're WST's and not actual G1's.

A lot of the prices are pretty ridiculous though.

They seem cool, but I never bought any, and now that I want a few, the ones that I want are too rich for my blood.
