So with all this talk of the (shitty) trailer for the remake of Day of The Dead. I just had to ask with all the love that Zombie movies get has any one else read eather of the books by Max (son of Mel) Brooks? I just finished World War Z today and I just want to say it was awesome if you like Zombie movies you should check it out. Also check out the Zombie Survival Guide it is a great read too. I would love to see a zombie movie made with the rules set up by the ZSG.

I got that survival guide a while ago. It's great, and it's funny that it takes itself so seriously. I actually feel prepared for a zombie attack now that I've read it.

Everyone need a zombie plan. I have the Survival guide, and I also got copies for two of my friends. I REALLY want World War Z, but I can't bring myself to spend the $25 for it.

I've read the zombie survival guide myself and love a good zombie movie. Yeah, now I can honestly say "Bring it on Zombies."

I picked up World War Z last week, and it's a great bathroom reader.

A Zombie Survival Guide? Gotta check if the local library has it (they import all kind of weird books like that).

I'm about a third of the way through World War Z and it took a bit for it to hook me. I do wish majority of the stories were a bit longer, others less so. Otherwise it's ok IMO. While I love zombies in entertainment, I'm not entirely convinced that I'm enjoying this book. I don't think there's anything all that bad about it, it just doesn't suit my reading habits as much as I'd like. Although it does seem that I'm in the minority of that opinion.

I'm about a fifth of the way into World War Z, and I freakin' love it. It's the first entertainment-hardback I've bought in at least a decade, 'cause I just didn't want to wait for the paperback, and I don't regret it for a second.

I actually think it's fairly well-written also, with the individual characters and segments suprisingly well distinguished for an 'oral history' that really only has one author.

Max Brooks is also a blast for his complete refusal to break character. Some friends saw him speak at UGA, and apparently, he didn't falter for even a second, not even at the most ridiculous questions.

Check Amazon if you're in the US--$13.72. That's without shipping, but you can always pick up a coupla other things you want and get the Super Saver bit.
