I love my current job, but that's because I'm doing what I went to school for and it's more of a career. If you work your way towards something you really want to do, you may change your attitude towards work. As the cat on the branch says, just hang in there.

However, I've done lots of jobs I couldn't stand, the worst of which being a call center trying to sell magazines. Everyone you call hates you, and you hate your job. It isn't healthy.

Are you saying you want paid to show up and not do anything? That kinda defeats the purpose of "work"ing, doesn't it?

I love my job. Even out in the cold. When I have to be a plumber. And an electrician. At the same time. I've got enough hats that I'm never doing the same thing.

I semi love/hate my workplace. I work as a cashier at a Walgreens.

Listen, customers, when I can't hear what you're saying because you're voice is so raspy, then I find out all you want is cigarettes, maybe it's time for you to quit.

Dude, whining about your job nowadays is a little ridiculous. But if you don't like what you do...do something else.

Me, I fucking LOVE my job. There's not one downside to it. Great co-workers, exciting and challenging work, excellent pay and benefits...it's absolutely fantastic.

    Man....

My job pushes me to the boundaries of psychotic fucking rampages and sometimes to the edge of wanting to drive my car off a cliff. Without my seatbelt on.
But then I volunteer to go to work for a single hour on both my days off every week just to paper work.

    I'm an odd workaholic.......

I like my job - it's a little government one dealing with files and paperwork! When I graduate, I'm hoping I'll find a nice government job related to my major :D

My job is just that, a job. There is some satisfaction, but at the end of the day I am really just working for the weekend. I envy those who love their Jobs, but it just didn't work out like that for me.

I like my job. I just hate the customers that call in for stuff that I can't help them with.

"How do I set up my router?"
I don't know, call the router manufacturer
    "I'm canceling my service"
    See ya, goodbye

I've gotten to the point in my career where I can see the world by supporting remote projects. If I want to sleep in or work from home, I can. I have respect from my colleagues and as long I have everything in order, I get left alone. I make good enough money that it's unthinkable for me to ever want to leave.

Right now I'm working on a project from my couch, while my daughter runs around screaming at Noggin. I'm pretty much okay with what I do. Especially given the 10% unemployment in our country, I'm pretty fortunate.

Not to mention all those people buying you drinks!

I also love my job, but it's so much more than a job; it's a career, a purpose in life. Do you get that sense, too?

It'll be seven years this January, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Yeah, it can be stressful, and even disappointing at times, but I love that I'm constantly challenged, and then there's the satisfaction of helping someone and making their day just that much better that makes it all worth it.

    Pro's:
I work 3 days a week and have 4 off.
    Pay is great.
I have my own office and have no boss on site.
I have enough downtime that I can watch DVDs and play video games.

    Cons:
    13 hours+ is a long ass day.
Those people I have to deal with are fucktards/It has its frustating and stressful moments.
I work on my own and have done so now for over 4 years. I miss people :(

I haven't worked in just over 10 months.
I want a job right now but my industry is winding down for Christmas and has been a pain to find work in.

Still, hopfully it'll pick up at the start of the New Year.

I design graphics for motocross t-shirts. I love my job. I have been there for 13 years. The only downside is customers wanting a masterpiece for the price and time of a carnival characature.
