Still working on painting and transformation tolerances.
Chest is held on with blutac
I still need to dremel the under chest down a little more so it will transform with no issues.
Still have a lot of work to do on car mode paint wise and have to make cross stickers and maybe other details.

I do have plans for Cab
But he will take awhile and I need to finish Minerva first.
I'm behind I've been really sick for the last two weeks. And with holiday family time, may not get back to this till after new years.

Mold choice is incredibly clever. Can't wait to see it finished!

wow the vehicon mold looks really good on her.

i would like to mention before you start on Cab that there is replacement neck port for the CW hotspot mold on shapeways to allow it to use headmasters, as well as the fact that POTP is releasing the same mould as inferno, so it would already be red. that's how i plan in making cab for myself and thought i would let you know of a MUCH easier alternative before you jumped in elbows deep on a full blown custom job.

I'm trying to keep them around the same height like in the show. So that mold would be too big

    Also considering using some others

    But thanks for the suggestion.

The neck hole is the perfect size, I can use the headmaster for cab with no dremeling or adjustments, so I will just need to make adjustments to the chest and legs, which should be pretty easy if the plan goes well, now I'll just need to make a shapeways order for the parts I want to cut up and hope I can get to fit as planned.

Reusing the Vehicon for Minerva is a stroke of brilliance - it captures her way too well.

Great job, especially in polishing that turd of a BOTCON figure into something decent!

Yes it's still a headmaster, here you can see the port with the head removed.

but unlike Go Shooter, there were no parts that worked right off shapeways, there was a lot of dremeling to get parts to fit. The chest had to be dremeled in the back for it to be much much thinner and flatter than the part came. Plus I had to dremel the vechicon's chest till it was as flat as I could get it. Plus to get the head port to fit the vechicon neck connector had to be cut off and the round neck area under had to be dremelled flat.
Though as you can see, I now have it so it can transform with no issues. Now I just need to finish removal of all the vechicon car symbols and finishing painting and clean up, then making the crosses and other details for car mode..

    Minor updates
    [IMG]
Added more paint details to minerva and finished removing car decals. Now working on red trim for the car, more minor paint details and waterslide decals. Started doing some basic work on cab, lot more to go. Need to mix some red as my first one didn't match as well as I wanted.
    Close ups

Gave her eye lashes and made the mouth more obvious

Doing some minor work to head master as well. Pained hair yellow gave her a mouth.

Further update to Cab, really starting to come together and look like Cab, Gonna add windows to the legs and then of course more paint, but I think it's turning out pretty well. Feedback welcome.
