*looks up at his Nemesis Prime*... yeah, they do rule.

Doubt they'll ever be released to regular retail so those of us that have them... cherish them.

Next, I have some questions regarding the name of Nemesis Prime. I remember a fellow on one of these TF boards or perhaps on IRC that had the handle of Nemesis Prime long before the name was first used (I believe it was used first in Armada on the repaint of Bendy Prime). Was this a fanservice injoke, or had this been used before in some capacity that I had missed (Botcon Universe books or something). Furthermore... being that he originated the colour scheme, why weren't all the repaints in this style named "Scourge" like in RiD? Only three figures (RiD Scourge himself, RiD Spychanger Scourge and Destructicon Scourge) actually had that title, and now, just as many figures have had the Nemesis Prime handle: Armada Nemesis Prime (Bendy Prime repaint), Universe Nemesis Prime (Big Convoy repaint) and now Alternators Nemesis Prime (and to a lesser extent, Cybetron Nemesis Breaker, who is in this paint scheme, but is NOT a Prime repaint).

So... in short... Where does "Nemesis Prime" come from, and why aren't they called "Scourge" anymore?

    Hrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
Buy it or not. Buy it or not. Buy it or not. Ummm...I don't know if I really want to drop more than $30 on it. But it's right there for the taking. If I wait too long it will be gone. Oh dear, whatever shall I do?

Well to be honest, I never even tried on eBay. I wasn't even looking for him, I just stumbled upon him while browsing.

You probably made the right choice. eBay's not what it once used to be. But hey, that Nemesis is worth whatever you're willing to pay :D

You're absolutely right on that. I first came online, it was like a big flea market/yard sale. Now, just as in thre local flea market here in my town, everyone thinks they have gold. They all think their stuff is rare, in mint condition and highly collectible. They act like they are a major retail store or something...trying to charge as much as possible for something.

He'd better come out at my local Toys R Us. The only Alternators there are Ravage and Shockblast. Oh sure, there's one Tracks there. But NO!!! I haven't seen Prime, Mirage, Meister, Ricochet, or Rollbar anywhere! :cry  Now I doubt even Nemesis Prime would come to my TRU...

Nemmy isn't coming to your TRU, or anybody's TRU. Sory, pal. Although, you're in Columbus...at least you have the Buckeyes to take up your attention when you're not looking at a complete collection of Alts. Since they don't play most of the games down here, I have to occupy my time in other ways.
