Is this news? I'm not really sure. Spoilers? Not really sure either.

In any case, last night at Wondercon 2007, Sony released some never-seen-before footage of Spider-Man 3. Mostly Spider-Man swinging around, ripping off the suit, him talking to Dr. Connors about the suit as a droplet of it slithers around on the desk, etc. Essentially just elaboration or new scenes of content we've already seen before in some format.

Then there was the close-up shot of Venom screaming at the very end, which was just a cleaned up version of the one in the illegal video from Comicon that was posted on YouTube.

    And, after that?

A shot of a beaten, battered Spider-Man, in the red-and-blues, terrified and scared...half his mask is torn away (as in the theatrical trailer). Then, out of no where, Venom appears from the top of the screen, grabs Spider-Man by the head, and pulls him upwards, off screen.

Long story short: If yesterday's footage is indicative of the movie, Venom WILL be the big final villain!

A lot of people had already figured that but that's cool, nice to have further proof.

I may break my own record of seeing a movie on its opening weekend with Spidey 3. Somehow I have a feeling it'll be the movie that you simply can't get tired of watching no matter how many times you've watched it. Let's hope it's not all hype with this movie.

It'd be worth missing the birth of your child?

Hopefully, the "it'd b worth it though" means that missing SM3 on opening night would be worth it to see the birth of his child.

If not - well, good luck with fatherhood.
