In the story, the wife/partner of the tow truck driver said the woman was trying to shake the guy off. That right there is the proof she knew he was there. Sad and horrific way to go.

Def charge her with murder. To do something as blatant as dragging a guy behind you with your car while other motorists were trying to get you to stop IS murder. I am surprised at the low bail amount. She should be held without bail at this point and I hope her children will not be living with her anymore.
