So today I was watching the 2007 movie and I got to the part with the Mountain dew bot and couldn't help but think how awesome it would be to have a toy of that guy.

At the same time though, I also realize how unlikely it will be that this epitome of product placement will ever be made into a real toy, no matter how much I pray to the Allspark.

And that got me wondering what other plastic crack people might be hoping for, but know, deep in their hearts will probably never see the inside of a mold.

Yeah, well, show me where UM was ever portrayed that way during any of the original cartoon or comic series, and then you can be as snarky as you want. If outdated toys from the 80's are what 's considered gospel by elitists, then Hasbro would have to re-design over half the original characters. So says Bumblebee with a mouthplate, Brawn with a mouthplate, Windcharger with a mouthplate, Robotech Jetfire vs cartoon Skyfire, Jazz with back mounted car doors, etc etc etc.
