    Hey any fellow Wisconsinites here?

How many of you are aware that we do indeed have accents? I know it's shocking, but we really don't talk exactly like people on TV.

It's ok though, I'm very proud of our over-annunciation of our "O's". There's nothing wrong with over-annunciation of vowels!

Sound off with your WI hometown here!

I'm originally from Spencer, just north of Marshfield. Now I live in Waunakee, just northwest of Madison.

    :D

    Edit #1:

And I'm quite surprised to meet a NEW Transformers fan from Wisconsin. The entire herd of us belong to the Dairyland Transformer Fans and meet at Dairycon in Fond du Lac every Spring.

    Edit #2:

Also, don't be a stranger, come on by the Wisconsin Sightings thread.

Seeing as you seem to be about their age, it would be funny as hell if you knew Mark Roethke, John Statz, or Nick Adam....

I should add that I had no idea there was a TFcon in Fond du Lac every year! I'm in Oshkosh, so that's like a 20 minute drive for me. Should probably check that out.

I had to ask, because there is a big bunch of Waunakee kids I'm friends with up here who go to UWO. They're all 22-23. I was hoping for one of those small world moments!

They are all probably born and raised from Waunakee. I lived in Spencer until I turned 20 and came down here to go to school at Herzing College in Madison.

Now I got a question for you, I have some family that live in Oshkosh. Does Jason Lefeber sound familiar at all?

On a personal note, the last time I was in Oshkosh was when I went to the FAA Airshow about 6 or 7 years ago. That place was nutz!

Darn. That's 0 for 2. Don't know that name. Probably went to West High School or Lourdes; I went to North.

But I have officially added to the WI sightings thread!

Sweet, you're in luck being in the Fox Valley. The majority of Wisconsinite Transformer Fans either live in the Fox Valley, Madison, or Milwaukee. So having others in the same area reporting sightings really cuts down on gas mileage while trying to hunt down figures.

I want to know as soon as somebody sees a Voyager Megs, '08 BB, or any of the new wave. Right now, that is my main concern.

Oh man, they are that bad? Yesterday I was driving back to Oshkosh on 151 and we hit so many of the goddam things. One of them left this huge, yellow, polleny/gutty splatter on the windshield. It was disgusting. I figured something must be up with their population.

Depends were you llive in madison. Since I am Windsor, there are a great amount of trees and open areas, so we have more. And since Campgrounds are generally all trees and pathes to get your camper around, they pretty much had a outbreak last week of them coming out of there cacoons. We even have a tree out front covered by them the last 5 days.

I didn't know you were in Windsor, I drive past that giant Walgreens distribution center everyday to get to school and work.

I also stop at that Kwik Trip so often that they know me by name.

I dont go past the Kwik Trip or Walgreens very mush as I don't go and get gas over there, and usually get on the highway at the road the deforest elementry is on. I do take alot of back roads as they are so much fun in my car.

I didn't think I had one but when I first came to college, people thought I was from Canada. Now that I've lived in Madison for 10+ years, I've lost any sort of accent that I had.

Yeah it was quite the reality check the first time I visited some online friends in Georgia. I bet you still have a little accent, if you're still in the state. Maybe you just don't notice it. My fiancee and her family are from Brodhead, which is pretty close to Illinois and they all have pretty decent ones.
