I saw those this past weekend when I was there, but I honestly don't know what's new and what's old from that line since I'm not collecting them.

 

That new RID ratchet works as a substitute for a generations/IDW one in a pinch.

 

Never did like the generations/classics ratchet all ways thought it fit ironhide more then him.
I really do love the prime ratchet do you think it's better then that one?

 

I have that Strongarm mold and it's okay. Nothing special. Seeing as how the RID Ratchet is practically paint free I think I would stick with the Prime one. I always liked that mold.

 

I'm in the minority but I hated Prime, never bought a single toy from that line.

 

The new Ross store in Madison opened this morning. After hearing about how awesome this store is, I stopped to see if they had some TF's. The toy section was already messy as hell and the only TF I found was a Mashem's Bumblebee. Very disappointed.

 

27th st TRU did a big toy reset, Transformers are off the gondola, now aisle D11, way further in to the store than before.

2 Fort Max on the shelf, tons of Sentinels and Galvatrons (i think 4 each) and 1 each of the wave 1 TR deluxes. I didn't see ANY CW figures so I wonder if they all got shipped off or sold.
RID stuff I don't collect but that had I noticed two pack "Showdown at Decepticon Island" set on the shelf.

 

  That's the way ROSS stores always look. They have the worst toy section of any discount store, but every once in a while you can get lucky there.

 

The Ross Planogram specifically shows all the toys be stacked and shuffled as haphazard as possible. If you ever find one clean, you know someone is going to get fired.

Bonus points for food and empty cups left on shelves.

 

I remember going into a couple ROSS stores when I was out in California a few years ago. I was scared going in those stores. My family stayed in the car with the doors locked. I do remember though that I have never seen as many toys damaged or ripped out of the packaging as I did at those stores.

 

Do you guys remember when ROSS was the only one getting those Hunt for Decepticon Windchargers though? I was wishing we had one around here then, haha. (BTW, the HFD Windcgarger is still my favorite version of that character besides the G1 version, haha)

 

Five Below got them as well. I remember this specifically because the guy who runs Seibertron ran around and bought a whole bunch in the Chicago area to sell on eBay.

 

Glad to hear another retailer carrying the TF line here in Madison even if it the odd leftovers. Distribution has been just dismal the last year or so.

 

Went in to Walgreens on MLK in Milwaukee to get chapstick, left with Mindwipe. left a Wolfwire on the peg. $20 is a lot for a deluxe but I couldn't help it.

FYI: Fort Max is $130 on Amazon right now. With prime shipping I'll have him tomorrow.

 

Appleton - Walgreens (College and 441) had 2 Mindwipes, 2 Highbrow, and a Chromedome. $20 though is hard to swallow though.

Ross is very much hit and miss. Years ago I saw a Star Saber+Victory Leo 2 pack (I now think it was a Robot Masters line) in Florida. But I've gone to one in California where they only had a Bumblebee statue.

Was told combiner war defensor limbs, I don't know which fleet fram they where talking about though.
