Any Wipe Out fans here? For the two of you in these boards (if even that), are you guys planning on getting Wipe Out HD, and is anyone playing Pulse on PSP. Wanted to go online with some folks now that I have worked on some loyalty with Assegai.

Also, I love how that little hand held game has some much cool online content (like downloading ship skins straight to your PSP from the online site and they always keep the game fresh with free tracks, tunes, and ships for the new series.

It's also really cool how they try to make the race believeable by giving each ship manufacturer a history and explain where their motivation in designing their ships. And the game's design presentation is a digital design's kid's drool session.

I can't wait to play HD, and I'm hoping it comes out soon. I wish I could transfer my loyalty points from my PSP, and I hope it has customizable ST like the PSP version

Yes, but you see, I have a problem. Ever since I showed my girlfriend Patapon, she has proceeded to call me Patas as a nickname, which sux because that's slang for foot in Spanish, so it kinda killed the name for me. Patasp rocks.

edit: speaking of which... There is an awesome save at gamefaqs for Patapon. It starts you at the beginning with every item and a shitload of money to start an army from hell. I have the save in my PSP, but I haven't used it because I love the finding shit and building up aspect of the game, but it's a nice save for a replaythrough.

I remember playing that game for hours at my buddies house back in the day, with nachos, you know what I'm talking about Twist. ;)

I liked the PSP one and wish I hadn't traded it. I might check out HD.

I've been meaning to pick up Pulse since it came out in February, but there has been too much this year and like the Parapapa remake last year, it got put on the end of the shortlist of games I want.

WipeOut HD will be an easy purchase here. I really enjoy the series. Though I never played the PSP iteration.

THANK YOU. Someone else who gets it right; always nice to see.
WipEout was awesome. WipEout 2097 was beyond awesome. I haven't played any since then, but I have a hell of a lot of fond memories of those 2.

Pscoop, which version did you have on PSP? Did you have Pulse? Pulse is great, and it even has a cool photo mode during the replays. Saves the stills to your PSP.

I've played all but one of the console games, and Pure, I love the series. I was pretty impressed with the amount of (free!) DLC for Pure, I hear Pulse is being treated just as kindly. I might have to grab that when I have more gaming freetime, but HD will be a pretty sure purchase.

Yeah, not only does Pulse have the free content (already available in the UK store), but it also has free skins for the ships that you can download from your PSP, and are created by other users.
