Is there anyway to rotate the wings forward? That would put the front end lower to the ground.

If I may make a suggestion...

Maybe the car mode would look better if you reversed it... so the tail actually becomes the front end, much like one of those needle-nosed drag racers. Then you could put some larger wheels on the back area to complete the look, and maybe find a way to fold the winglets into a spoiler... ? It might work out if you flipped the chopper upside down... maybe?

I think you're onto something here, but the car mode just needs a bit more of a reconfiguration to get away from looking like an assault helicopter on wheels. :)

I had thought he could try reversing it for a drag racer look but would a second cockpit be able to be hidden? Or flip the helicopter also?

Amazing. I actually couldn't stop myself from saying "ingenious" out loud when i saw how you'd built the tail. Using those side fins to mount the rear wheels, and then having them fold up into quasi-rotors for helicopter mode is a stroke of genius.

However, i'm not so much a far of the green. Needs to be lighter and brighter for a Generations Springer to me. This still looks like Bayverse.

Still, can't wait to see more. :)

I like this idea, and you could have some panel/cover that flips up from the nose of the copter to cover the canopy in car mode (like Zendai was saying), and then that could be the chest cover in robot mode to hide the canopy there as well. of course, i'm not 100% sure on the robot mode works, so I don't know if this is possible.

but you have a great fresh take on springer here, and i'm looking forward to more. :thumb

Well I think I came up with a way to make his Car mode just a lil different, I've seen a mod that removes the propeller rig from the top (Do this) now you wont have work around it, Or don't either ways fine (if not this transformation SHOULD allow you to peg the blades ala bot mode, MAYBE). But transform him about 75% leaving his leg's together (and bent @ the knee) as well as the canopy, rotate his waist backwards, put his "side fins" into their back position (to fill in empty space mostly), and move his arm "thruster's" in between. Now if done "correctly" this should give him a Drag-racer look (as well as a Drag "windshield" look too) now all you have to do is figure a place for his rear wheels? I suggest the peg holes along his chest but beyond that I got nothing, Good Luck!

That sounds good, but I need the propeler to stay where it is because 2 of theHowever 4 rotors connect right now due to the TFA wheels. however i might still try that.

Ok, I need help, I tore apart my poor cybertron hot rod (now without a head) and sized it up to skyhammer. Heads are about the same sizes, but i was lookimg for a swivel joint inside shyhammers head not a ball joint! So i can do one of two things, hollow out hotshot's head and plop it onto skyhammer's ball, or chop off the base for hot shot's head and glue skyhammer's head mount onto it. (skyhammer has a square base while hotshot has the basic circle base.) IDEAS?

Plop it onto the ball. Seems the easier method to me.

But hotshot's head is on a swivel joint, or else I would.

Cut the swivel off and drill a small hole into the head for the ball joint. Is the head hollow at all? It might work in that case...

I would have used CD Hotshot myself (though that's a swivel head too).

I had the same idea of using skyhammer for a classics springer. I was just fiddling around with it and came up with this. Flip him upside down and fold his tail/legs around him and just popthe blades off. I just stuck his weapon on top, or bottome rather, but maybe you could tweak this to get it more car like and less cybertronian hover car like.
