    ROTF Leader Optimus Prime Custom

So, I decided to try getting into customizing my figures and figured I'd start with the hardest, lol. Here's what I got so far. I've mainly been doing some drybrushing on it. First figure I've ever done. I welcome any criticism and comments!

Edit: Finally finished. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out considering it is my first custom. Not 100% accurate, and there are a few flaws, but I think it looks pretty awesome.

    Looking really good.
One tip, donĀ“t know if you used it due to the photo, but it works great if you do highlights on higher borders with brighter/lighter shades of "silver" or whatever color you are using, also with the drybrush technique. Just do it slightly, not to cover everything you already did.

I was thinking about that... Gotta go get a lighter silver/gray to do it. I knew it needed something. I'm not too good about knowing what parts should be highlighted... Will just have to experiment and look at others work. Thanks for the suggestion!

You're doing a great job so far. It's already looking better than before.
I recommend watching encline's video here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tutorials-how-tos/469603-dry-brushing-basics-video-tutorial.html. It really helped me understand dry brushing better.
