Interesting.I've never thought to see him with an arm cannon and not his hand gun.I could see Shockwave working some of megatrons designs into himself.Who would of thought,a shockwave from all those years back would be so sought after now.

 

Did you slap Megatron's fusion cannon to Shockwave's hand...holy crap!? Very cool.

The arm canon makes him look even MORE like a badass. Very nice.

 

Yea. I had no want for it to be his hand. The thing I like about Classics is that they're updates, and that's what I wanted to get in line with.

Even though Shockwave doesn't hold the same ranking as Megatron, for the decepticons on Cybertron he IS the leader. That whole "pee shooter" idea for his arm was a bit outdated for me, and, since he is the equivalent to Megatron's position on Cybertron, for me it was a no brainer to give him firepower the equivalent of Megatron's.

Hey, thanks Solrac: custom's like yours, G60's, AutobotX's, FR's, etc. etc. are what inspired me to give it a go, so thank YOU all for contantly putting out these great pieces.

just touch up the small little paint chips and your all good   my version of shockwave should be coming soon once i get the arms put back on it!

 

It's done on purpose as wear and tear, and that's why he's got the burn marks on the shoulders and stuff too.

It's going to be fun once I actually get around to priming all of him. I really like that "hard fought" look.

ahh ok my mistake! but i guess thats a good thing? - meaning it looks natural like he had the paint chipped kickin some autobot ass?

 

hahaha, yea man! I liked that you DID say it looked like paint chipping, bc that means I'm at least doing it right.

I wish I has a better undercolor than black though.

 

well what did you use to undercolour? i use either black or white under colour as it works for pretty much every colour you see
